2. Why did factory owners permit such conditions and child labor?
3. Write an essay (2-3 paragraphs) contrasting current history conditions with those of 100 years ago?
Answer: 1. hot, sweaty, long hours, little pay, and no education. children were worked from young ages.
2. factory owners allowed this because it was cheap, simple as that.
3. well conditions in the u.s. have improved. but companies still ship jobs overseas where the same conditions are still going on. there is little pay, bad conditions and young children working. outsourcing is the new age of child labor. basically it's the companies saying "okay kids can't work in this country, so we will send it to that one where we can"
Question: What are typical conditions does a lender ask for with a mortgage commitment? I've seen that I need to get a mortgage commitment by 15 days prior to settlement. It says that there will be conditions that need to be met. What are the typical conditions? I've never done it before.
Answer: Due to the current climate for mortgage loans, you may find that your lender wants more than the typical list for a loan commitment. So they may start with:
• A copy of your Purchase Agreement
• Pay stubs, W2 forms, tax returns for two years (include all supporting documentation of income and deductions if you are self employed)
• Your most recent credit card bills
• Information on other debt such as car loans, student loans and retail credit cards
But then they may go further and ask for:
• A letter explaining the source of gifts
• A letter of explanation about an employment gap
• A letter of explanation about a seasonal bonus or commission
• A letter of explanation about an unusually large deposit in your bank account
• A letter of explanation about a bad credit issue
• Proof of deferred student loan schedule
• Copy of a divorce decree
• Copy of a diploma
Some people find this process very intrusive. But that is what it takes to get a loan right now.
Question: What conditions or circumstances in a market could limit a monopoly? There is a perception in the real world that monopolies are all powerful. This is simply not the case. What conditions or circumstances could limit monopolies?
Are there things besides laws, business conditions, that could limit a monopoly?
Thank you Wildbird, that is the kind of answer I was looking for!
Answer: Substitution.
Where I live there is a cable TV company that has a monopoly. They have limited power because I can substitute broadcast TV or one of two satellite companies for cable.
In the US, a consortium of peanut growers has a monopoly because they have lobbied to restrict growing areas and prohibit imports. Their pricing power is limited because there are other cooking oils and you don't "need" to have peanut butter for lunch.
Question: What conditions would a planet orbiting around a red giant require in order to sustain life? If a planet that orbited around a red giant was to sustain life similar to Earth's, what conditions would be required? I want my theoretical planet to have about 65% water and be slightly larger than Earth. I want my planet to have an elliptical orbit so that it can have seasons without a tilt.
So what I really want to know, is how far away from this star should my planet be in order for there to be life?
Answer: A redgiant wont last nearly as long as our sun, It would become a white dwarf star over time but if a planet had to? Multiply everything on earth by about 70 including the atmoshphere, water ,mass. The ozone layer would have to kick ass

Question: What conditions or diseases can occur from using your computer too much? What injuries, conditions, or diseases can occur from using your computer too much? Like blurry vision from the screen. What can happen if you use it too much?
Answer: There aren't very many conditions you can get, but there are several which you should be aware of. You can get carpal tunnel from using a keyboard or mouse that isn't ergonomic or is uncomfortable for you to use. From looking at the screen too long you can develop Computer vision syndrome, which is a temporary condition resulting from sitting at the screen too long. If you're using an older CRT, you can develop Asthenopia, or just simply "eye strain". Muscle and joint pain, while associated with Computer vision syndrome, can also manifest by itself. All of these are very rare conditions, but they are still prevalent in computer health issues.
But there are all kinds of mishaps and accidents which can cause injuries while actually working on the insides of a computer. You could electrocute yourself if the proper precautions aren't taken before working on a computer. You could accidentally plug in the wrong connector and start a fire. You could cut your hand on the case while inserting a hard drive. Many things could happen to you, the best way to avoid accidents is to be careful.
Hope I could help.

Question: What conditions cause inflamed liver and high blood pressure in a 22 year old man? My friend is 22 years old, and hasn't suffered any serious health problems before now. Recently he has been suffering with headaches, dizziness, abdominal pains and tiredness. The doctors say he has an inflamed liver, and very high blood pressure, but have said nothing further. They are running more tests. What conditions can cause these symptoms? Especially in a young man with no previous problems.
Answer: Taking too many painkillers is what got me. I don't drink and I had the same problem at 25 years old. I also had a dying gallbladder that was infecting my liver, so I got it from both sides. Is your friend overweight? That can cause a toxin buildup and is commonly called "fatty liver disease". On a kinda plus side, the liver has the ability to recover at an insane rate. That's why you can live for so long with liver problems. Your friend may have a miserable existence for a while, but he will likely live through it ok. Im going on two years now, and its still bothersome for me, but I'm alive and my quality of life is good.
