Facts On Vitamin C

Question: How many milligrams of vitamin C is 100% of your DV (Dailey Value)? I always read how much vitamin c is in drinks and food but it only says in % of your daily value, i want to know how many milligrams of vitamin C are in 100% of your daily value (which is on the label of products under nutritional facts) because when i take vitamins and vitamin C pills it gives me milligrams and i want to know how much of my daily value it is. Thanks

Answer: The RDA for vitamin C is something like 50 mg of vitamin C per day but some references suggest that it is more like 100 mg per day. References to 100% of your DV are probably based on 50 mg of vitamin C so that 100% per day = 50 mg per day. Getting at least 100 mg of vitamin C per day would be desirable but you can probably get by on 50 mg per day.
