Question: ladies, what are some sure ways a women can get cellulite? also, what are some foods that can cause cellulite?
Answer: cellulite is just fat and it comes the same way as all fat: eating more food than your body needs to function and lack of exercise.
Question: What are the causes of cellulite? I'm 14, and a little overweight.
I'm watching what I eat and so far it's going good :]
Though I'm wondering what causes cellulite?
Also, are there certain foods that cause cellulite more than others?
Thanks for your help :]
No rude comments please
Answer: any foods that promote fat storage. umm genetics and heredity can also be the cause. not drinking enouh water, poor diet (alcohol, processed foods, lots of caffeine and other toxins), smoking, diet pills, sleeping pills, diuretics, crash diets, and sedentary lifestyle are all causes.
Question: what CAUSES the appearance of cellulite, what food that you eat can contribute to cellulite?
Answer: To sum it all up in one word... toxins. Although cellulite can be called fat, it is more of an accumulation of waste & toxins than it is actual fat -- I know that is splitting hairs, but it is what it is.
As for Cellulite Diet foods....
Avoid Junks foods, saturated fat (animal fat), alcohol, processed foods, refined sugar & flour, and basically anything that is bad for you and/or just appears to be unnatural.
Foods that can help with cellulite reduction include fatty fish, fish oils, berries, brightly colored fruit (high in antioxidents), and a wide variety of other things.....

Question: I have abs covered in fat? HELP? My muscles in my stomach are extremely strong. I can actually feel the beginning of a pack coming on. Problem is that there is some fat covering mostly toward the bottom because I can't seem to rid my donut area). I work my abs constantly so that isn't the problem.
What are foods that cause fat to accumulate in your belly?
What are foods that shrink your stomach fat?
And while you're at it, which foods make your butt bigger without causing cellulite?
Answer: The only way to get fat off your belly is to eat better. Getting rid of fat is 80% what you eat and 20% how hard you work out. Where the fat goes depends on your genes, not what you eat.
Question: 2 week fast Is it safe? For the next 2 weeks I plan to go on a water and green tea only fast and I wanted to ask these questions:
How safe is it? What are the pros and cons?
Will I turn into a skeleton? I don't want to I'm 115 5'6 and fine with that weight, not doing this for weight loss but rather detox.
Will it reduce the appearance of my cellulite if I stick with it and eliminate all potentially cellulite causing foods after it + stick with a good workout plan?
What are the side affects? I will just be studying at home during these two weeks and will that be affected in any way?
I plan on going on a walk everyday + stretching. No further exercise should be done on a fast or am I mistaken?
Thanks for your time. :)
I don't want adds I want real people. :(
Answer: Answers below:
How safe is it? Too much liquid (especially water) plus no food can be bad and potentiall deadly. Drinking only liquids can lead to Hyponatremia (water intoxication).
What are the pros and cons? You will bloat like crazy you're only consuming water. Therefore, you'll actually feel fatter and look a little heavier.
Will I turn into a skeleton? No. See above
Will it reduce the appearance of my cellulite if I stick with it and eliminate all potentially cellulite causing foods after it + stick with a good workout plan? Absolutely not. Cellulite has nothing to do with what you consume. It's how much you consume that makes you gain weight, which also tends to lead to the increase in cellulite.
What are the side affects? See the answer to the first question.
I will just be studying at home during these two weeks and will that be affected in any way? Of course. You won't be eating food so, you won't be getting any energy. If you have no energy, you might feel tired and your brain functions may slow down. Not a good thing if you're planning on studying this entire time.
I plan on going on a walk everyday + stretching. No further exercise should be done on a fast or am I mistaken? You need to refrain from this diet. There's other ways to detox but be careful what you see on the internet as some detox plans are very dangerous.
Question: Cellulite? I dont think i am a big girl.
I'm 5'5'' and weigh about 110lb and 17 years old.
So why do i have so much cellulite? Its all over, my stomach is horrible, my thighs, calves, and this morning i even notices it in my arms. My thin arms!
This is really frustrating me. All i eat is junk food but I dont eat that much everyday and when i count my percentages and calories it amounts to the right daily values. I also take vitamins and calcium and birthcontrol. I do exercise moderately. But not enough. Maybe 2 hours a week.
Could this cellulite be caused by the birthcontrol i take? If so, would switching the brand help? Or do i just need to exercise a lot more and lift weights?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Answer: I am not sure which birth control you are on...but you should definitely go for one with low hormone preperation. These donot trigger fat accumulation.
You can try the nivea anticellulite cream. It is very effective but, definitely coupled with excersise atleast 2-3 days a week.
Also cut down on carbs and fats. Literally count on them and drink lots of water.
Question: I want to lose weight..what am i doing right and wrong? Ok so long story short. I use to weigh like 114lbs wore a size 3 jeans beginning of Freshman year. I went to a certain school place and the food there was unhealthy and not filling so i ate alot but we didnt have gym enough. plus i just got on depoprovera bc so i gained like...30-40lbs in 5-6 months. I currently weigh like 137 lbs or so, it goes up and down but the lowest has been 135.
Well ok so my boyfriend is in great shape, and i just feel sort of disgusting naked next to him because i think the girl should be smaller then the guy. he says he loves my body and such like my butt, which i am constantly subconscious about because of the cellulite. idk if he has noticed it or just ignoring it but i constantly like am walking backwards from him or bending over so it doesnt show. I got a job and have been biking alot lately. I'm wondering if this will make my legs skinnier and make that gross stuff go away. i already have thick legs and ankles so i just want to have slim sexy legs...my proportions are crazy off.
like...36-38C boobs, 27 inch waist then a 41 in on my butt..

Answer: Just keep a list of different healthy foods and make different combinations of foods for breakfast, lunch, dinner. and then also remember to workout it seems hard but its all worth it at the end when you have the smoking body your dreaming of right now why not make it true. (:

Question: I'm 14 years old, 140 pounds and I'm 5'3. Can you help me? 4 years ago I lost a lot of weight by riding bike and walking in Miami, I was the usual chubby girl, so I was happy to be kinda fit, I've never had a flat stomach in my life, that's just nature. 2 years after that I was 12, and I moved to Bogota, Colombia. I didn't really have any options for activity or exercise simply because of financial matters and 'cause the city is dangerous. Over the months I realized that I was developing and maturing into a woman, you know what I mean. I grew hips, breast, etc. By age 13 I was bigger, chubbier and a bit more muscular due to soccer practice at school. I decided to stop eating at night to help my figure since I am growing, and also doing mild exercises to remain the same. But I just kept on getting bigger boobs more butt, I feel very unconfortable. I drink soft drinks occasionally, 'cause I know how bad they are for me. But right now I have developed cellulite and it's very unflattering for a 14 year old girl, I don't know what foods 'cause this and my parents cannot afford professional help to explain all this to me. I know that my mother was a curvy girl at my age, but there's a big difference between being curvy and being overweight. I have lost a lot of self esteem and to be honest it's depressing, and all of that leads me into eating some more for no reason. I don't really have the best genes so that's unfortunate to see other girls my age confident with who they are and slim. Maybe stress is what is making me so anxious when it comes to food. You don't have to pity me and tell me things that are untrue like that I'm not overweight and that I am healthy. Just tell me what I can do at home to stop gaining so much weight. I appreciate anyone who's willing to help me.
Answer: You can try this exercise http://tinyurl.com/getoffcellulite . We need to do the right exercise for getting rid of cellulite. Not all of exercise can get rid of cellulite.
This is a simple exercise. This is a home exercise program that you do in less than 22 minutes... I have done and proven effective to get rid of cellulite. And remember this is NOT a weight loss/diet program.
Hope this can help you...
Question: What do you know about cellulite? I know genes play a big factor. I've always been almost underweight my whole life yet I still have dimples in my but and waves in my legs. Thanks for the leg yuck mom.
I've began doing leg exercises with ankle weights on and I hope to see some results soon. Does anyone have any favorite exercises that target that area? Would cardio exercising help and why?
I have a serious addiction to soda and potato chips. I also don't drink enough water. I know these are things Ive got to change. What is it in soda that causes the cellulite? Is it the sodium? The salt?
What ingredients in foods should I stay away from? Is there anything I should be eating more of to help prevent or diminish cellulite?
Answer: I know that it is bad for you appearance.
Question: ill effects of using Table Salt (refined).....is this correct or a hype? Experts opinion please....? Recently I read an article in this connection as below:
The Consequences of Consuming Table Salt:
The result of consuming common table salt (refined) is the formation of overly acidic edema, or excess fluid in the body tissue, which is also the cause of cellulite. This is the cause of different kinds of rheumatism such as arthritis, gout, and kidney and gall bladder stones. But in the long run. it poisons the system.
When you refine salt you bring it down to just two elements, sodium and chloride out of 74 elements that are essential for the human body. Also a lot of refined salts on the market contain toxic anti- caking agents that sometimes contain aluminum in a metallic form which is not something you ever want to have in your food.
Can I have experts opinion on this please?
Answer: Mostly nonsense. Salt affects blood pressure in about one-third of people with high blood pressure. It has no adverse effects in the other two-thirds, or in people with normal blood pressure.
Cellulite has nothing to do with this, nor do gallstones or gout. In fact, most table salt contains iodine, which many people do not get enough of, particularly if they don't live reasonably near the ocean or eat much ocean seafood.
Question: i'm underweight but i have stretch marks and cellulite? i'm 18 years old, 5'3, and just under 110 pounds. my doctor says that i'm not dangerously underweight, but it wouldn't hurt to gain a few pounds. other than that, i'm pretty healthy. i eat all of my food groups everyday and i workout about 4 times a week atleast. if i'm not overweight or anything, then why do i have cellulite and stretch marks on my thighs? what do i do? i feel like working out any more than i already do will cause me to lose weight, which is the last thing i want. how can i get rid of the stretch marks and cellulite?
Answer: Well there's really not a definite way to get rid of stretch marks, they have creams and all of that, but as to whether or not they work? Who can say.
Cellulite, maintain a healthy diet, workout, drink a lot of water, and avoid smoking and alcohol.
I say that, but that doesn't mean it will get rid of all the cellulite. It will usually just make it a lot less noticeable.
The location of cellulite and why you get it, isn't really about fat at all. It can have a lot to do with hormones, and heredity. You can be in the best shape ever, and still have cellulite.
However, if you keep to what I said before, (maintain healthy diet and all that), you should be fine. It will probably start to be a lot less noticeable, and before you know it, you won't even notice it anymore.
I hope this helped! :)
Question: what happens after youre pregnant? ok, this question has been bothering me for a while.does everyone get stretch marks after giving birth?and if they try to get rid of it, will it leave a 'muffin top'?do the back of your thighs get cellulite afterwards?if it does, is it caused by the food you ate while you were pregnant?
ps.im not pregnant =] its just one of those things thats not really important but is really bothering me
Answer: I have a 1 1/2 year old baby so i know from experience that everyone is different. My mom got stretch marks when she had my sister and I. But i did not get one stretch mark from having my daughter. I did gain weight but i lost it really fast due to working out and eating right. If you choose to breast feed you automatically use up 500+ calories each day just by feeding your baby. cellulite is no caused from the food you eat but rather by the balance your body has with your digestive system. Cellulite is fat deposited unevenly which is a sigh of abnormality in your digestive system. It took a while for me to get fully healthy and balanced with all the hormone changes after the baby... and most people struggle with it for years after....
Question: Is this an eating disorder? I don't have anorexia or bulmia It's just that there are certain foods that I don't want to eat cause I think that I will get spotty skin or get cellulite, I don't eat chocolate and hardly eat crisps all I want to eat is fruit and veg and I don't like eating processed foods like ready meals cause they contain too much salt! but I don't think i'm fat, is this a disorder? I'm noticing I'm getting fatter :\ it might just be me that thinks this though..But I'm getting cellulite on my thighs -.- cellulite is what caused my eating disorder in the first place..
ANYWAYS. I'm on this high calorie diet of mine, I ONLY eat healthy foods. NO JUNK FOOD AT ALL. But ever since I decided to fight this disorder..I've noticed I'm liking sweets again. I know they are bad for you..But I heard your suppose to treat yourself to something once and a while
How many times a week/month can I treat myself to say, Ice cream? (or frozen yogurt) orr chocolate (dark)
I was limiting myself to once a week. what do you think?
Answer: Once a week is good. Did you know dark chocolate is actually good for you? It's full of antioxidants and not so big on sugar. 60% cocoa or higher is best.
