Question: From where is Simply Orange juice coming from? are the oranges from China? I have been drinking Simply Orange juice and Simply Apple for quite a while and love them both. I know the company is a new branch of Coca-Cola, and I know how the juice is made but it doesn't say anywhere on the bottle from where are the fruits or the juice imported from. Usually if it doesn't say where is it from then there is a reason to be concern. I would not want to have any food or fruit from China considering the pollution and the conditions their food is grow and handle.
Thank you both for your answer.
Answer: I went to their web page the company is headquartered in Florida.
Question: Why are sodas from the fountain so much different than from the bottle? I've noticed that I love diet Pepsi from the fountains from such places as Burger King or McDonalds, even though I'm not the biggest fan of the same product from the bottle. A buddy explained that the machines at these restaurants use a syrup that's mixed with carbonated water and the water/flavoring ratio is likey different.
Does this sound right? Syrup? I suppose economically it sounds about right, though this is the first time I've heard of it.
Is this method of manufacture available to me, or only to the franchises? I've tried causing the soda to become a little flat like the fountain drinks are, but it tastes completely different.
Also, does anyhone else prefer a beverage from a fountain that they wouldn't otherwise drink from a bottle or can?
Thanks in advance!
Answer: some soda companies recipes are different from each other, the can/bottle vs the fountain. I personally like the fountain drinks a lot better too.
Question: wiring from an existing light switch, do i need a ground? I added a motion light to my garage. to get power to it i stole power from an existing switch in the garage that controls 2 lights inside the garage. but i didnt run a ground wire from the old switch where i stole power from to the new electrical outlet for the motion light. is this a big deal? fire hazard?
it is NOT in conduit. i used 14 2 wire with the covering that it came with. but i did not use the included ground wire, i will look at doing that tonight. thanks again!
Answer: You should have run a ground wire. Be sure that the power is off at the breaker any time you change a bulb or touch the fixture, especially if it is wet outside. This way you don't become a ground :-)

Question: How to prevent spiders from dropping from ceiling onto bed at night? Spiders keep dropping from the ceiling onto my bed at night. They tend to land near my face which isn't cool. Last night one dropped on my bed just as I was about to sleep. WTF. I mean a spider on the floor is bad enough, but for them to be aiming for your face while you sleep. That's just wrong. What can I do to prevent spiders from dropping from my ceiling at night? Where are they coming from? Air duct?

I have already got down the distance from every planet to the Sun. I remember my teacher saying something about subtracting the distance from one planet to the sun, to the distance of Earth from the Sun.
For example, the distance between Earth and the Sun is 93 million and Mercury is 36 million. How do I find the distance between those two planets? And how about a planet that is father from the Sun than Earth?

Question: How to block others from using my internet from their computers? I have a stepson that brings his computer from his mom's house. He somehow uses our internet and plays on his computer not ours? How do I stop him from logging onto my internet from his computer?
Answer: First, you need to go into your router's administration portal. I would imagine you are using a Linksys, Netgear, or other similar router. In order to access this page, you need type the IP address of the default gateway into your internet explorer bar. (Usually, it's http://192.168.1.1 or http://10.0.0.1). It sometimes tells you on the bottom of the router what to put in.
Once you are there, you will need to go under the section labeled "Wireless Security". You might have to look around a bit, but it should be there. Once you're there, you need to enable WEP encryption. (There are others as well, but WEP is one of the most common.) It will ask you for a passcode. After you enter your chosen passcode and hit 'Generate Key' it should spit out a code of numbers and letters. Write this down. (Sometimes it gives you several options... you just need the first one.) When you or anyone else goes to connect to your wireless network, they will be asked for this code. It will not let you connect until you enter it.
You will only need to enter the code on your end if you connect to your internet wirelessly. If you connect through an ethernet cable plugged directly into your router, you will need to do nothing when you go to connect, as normal. This just keeps people from stealing your wireless broadband connection.
Question: How far from the castle wall does the fired cannonball hit the ground? King Arthur's knights fire a cannon from the top of the castle wall. The cannonball is fired at a speed of 53 m/s and an angle of 31 degrees. A cannonball that was accidentally dropped from the top of the castle wall hit the moat below in 1.5 seconds .
How far from the castle wall does the fired cannonball hit the ground?
Answer: Theres a formula that states that
x= V(initial)cosThetha.t
where t = time
==> x = 53(cos 31) (1.5)=68.144m
so the fired cannonball will hit the ground 68.144 m away from the castle

Question: From a chemistry andor physics point of view. How do you explain pepper repelling from dish soap? You know when you put ground pepper ontop of water in a dish.
The pepper floats on top, covering the water. But when you put some dishwater soap on your finger and stick it in the middle of the dish, The pepper moves away from the finger.
How do you explain this in terms of chemistry and physics?
Answer: The answer is on this site:
http://www.newton.dep.anl.gov/askasci/gen06/gen06174.htm
The "simple" answer is that the surface tension of the pepper particles is less than "pure" water (about 72 ergs/cm^2), so the pepper particles tend to float on the water's surface. When you add a drop of soap, you greatly reduce the surface tension of the water near the point at which you add the soap. Initially, this causes a repulsion of the pepper particles and the particles tend to follow the high surface tension areas. If you shake the solution, you will find that the pepper particles get "wetted" by the soap solution and the pepper will disperse in the soap solution.

Question: Is meat from a butcher better than the grocery store? I usually just buy meat at the grocery store but there is a butcher in town and I thought about trying it out.
Is meat from butchers usually better? Is it usually from local farms or could it be from anywhere?
Also, do they have options of "free range" meat, like free range chicken at the butcher?
Thanks for any input
also is the meat cheaper at a butcher? also, do you have to tell them how you want things cut ro are things pre-cut?
Answer: I would say it depends on the butcher. The ones I have been to are usually more expensive, but also have a higher quality of meat. I prefer choice and higher grades of beef. Many grocery stores sell less than choice. One good thing about butchers is that they are usually more knowledgable about cuts of meat and they will take the time to help you make the right choices. You'll just have to go and find out about your neighborhood butcher. Just like other business' they are all going to be a little different.
Question: How do I reference a cell from getting the letter and number from two different cells in Microsoft Excel? For example, i'm trying to grab a letter from a4 and a number from a9 (this data comes from user input) and then use that information to grab the information from another cell. So say a4 has b and a9 has 4, I want the information from b4. Does anyone know how to do this?
I tried the last two responses but its saying invalid cell reference error.
Answer: you want to use the indirect() formula
=INDIRECT(A4&A9)
the indirect() will indirectly direct excel to concatenate text strings and cell values into a working formula
edit-
sorry i dont know why you would be getting the #REF! error.
indirect() should work.
try this website, maybe it can help.
Question: Why do some people from 1st world countries migrate to other 1st world countries? That are doing slightly better economically or in quality of life. Like poeple from Greece or Italy going to Germany. People from Europe going to the USA. People from France going to the UK. It's been asked if people migration from one country to another has to do with ovepopulation, but I rather think it has to do with economics. What do you think?
Answer: Some people simply are tired of the same and want change. Maybe they want to learn a new language. Maybe they want to start a new job. Maybe they want to live in a different climate or meet new and different people.
There are way too many reasons to want to move to another country, both rational and irrational, and regardless of whether that country is economically better or not.
Question: How to stop ppl from running applications directly from pendrive? I need to stop ppl from playing games during work hours.
I have stop ppl from installing applications by giving them limited accounts.
But it still cant stop them since they can install game into their pendrives in home and take it to work.
The games i noticed were some yahoo games, installed in pendrives, or other casual games.
Is there any software or programs that can stop this from happening? Its getting out of hand, since most of the time i not in the office monitoring.
Answer: Group policy can easily disable removable media, the question is, do you want them to still be able to use flash drives and just not execute from them?
That can be done, but it is more complicated.
Question: How can I stop someone from from suing me repeatedly and for various things for spite? If someone I had a business transaction with is crazy and wants to sue me again and again for different things until he nails me for something, how can I stop that someone from from suing me repeatedly and for various things for spite? Plus, what if he keeps suing me for things I'm truly innocent of and it is draining me of legal fees. Note: This is actually not happening to me. I am just wondering how the law could protect someone from a litigious litigant.
Answer: The legal term is "malicious litigant".
Many States have an automatic limit on the number of pro se lawsuits one plaintiff can file in a year. In addition, a defendant can always go to the court and ask to have a specific person named as a malicious litigant. Once such a label is issued, the plaintiff is subjected to additional restraints on his ability to sue.
What those restraints are depends on State. In some he must have a lawyer (because lawyers are barred by the canons of ethics from advancing a frivolous or malicious suit), in some he must get a judge to sign off on the suit before he files it, and in some he must post a bond to cover the defendants costs if he loses.
