Answer: The main Question is what do you want from life ? It is time to go on a personal journey to discover your true potential. Its easy to be sad when you are a caring emotional, being. Now you must offload the dark gloomy existence and search for the light of inspiration and hope. It is within your innerself you only have to find it.What has happened to make you feel so depressed ,it is time to look at the medication problem, what is your doctors opinion .Do you really need them, your system is caught in a vicous circle of dependency.Ask your doctor to help you dispense with them. Question: How can I make my husband happy with our marriage? My husband says that I have to be the one to make him happy with our marriage to make him a happier person. But how do I do that ? When I feel that to be happy with something or someone you have to be happy with yourself first. I just don't understand. Please help!
Answer: In love, you cannot make someone happy. His happiness is not within your control, and it never will be. If he's not happy, he's the one who needs to reconsider his own place in the marriage. The best thing he could do is communicate with you about exactly what he doesn't like about the marriage, and you two can then try to resolve it as long as it's within reason. Do not change who you are to please him, because that's not love. You both need to be very strong in your own identity so you can come together and compromise. What he needs to realize is that there is no perfect marriage, and there are likely things that you're unhappy with in the marriage too. The marriage isn't all about him.
A book I highly recommend is the 5 Love Languages by Dr. Gary Chapman. You and your husband might express love differently and this book can help you understand what each other's needs are better. You might be pouring your heart out into something to show him love, but he doesn't recognize it because he feels love differently than you give it. This book will help explain how it all works. Best of luck!

Question: What exactly is the difference between white collar happy hour and blue collar happy hour? Happy Hour ... the time when workers get off work and go out for some drinks. What exactly is the difference between those who work white collar jobs when going out to happy hour and those who work blue collar jobs when going out to happy hour?
Answer: White collar workers normally go out to a nice fancy restaurant/bar club and drink mixed liquor drinks.
Blue collar workers normally go to a pub or some Joe Shmoe sports bar kind of restaurant, such as Hooters or Buffalo Wild Wings and drink their Budweiser's, Coors Light, or Miller Light beers.
Question: How do i become a happy motivate person? I think I've always been a little bit down. Everything in my life is going good but for some reason I get depressed from time to time for no real reason. I am under a lot of stress but so are many people. I have a professor who is super happy all the time (seriously all the time) and I would really that quality in my life. How do I become a happy motivated person?
Answer: When you are hard on yourself ask yourself this question "would I be this hard on someone else?". For example, if you say "I hate the way I look, I am so lame etc..." would you EVER say that about your best friend? Of course not. You should be your own best friend. If you like who you are, it shows and others feel the same.
Chances are your professor is not happy "all the time" but she finds ways to channel her unhappiness. Working out, dinner with friends, going to a movie (a comedy), etc... all great ways to stay positive.
I know it sounds cheesie, but affirmations work. All day, as much as possible say what you want to be... "I am a kind person" or "I am a happy / positive person"... repeat it 10 times slowly over and over throughout the day. It's relatively simple, but it works. Don't say "I want to be a happy / positive person"... say "I AM a happy / positive person".
Lastly, GET SOME FRESH AIR AND MAKE YOURSELF THINK GOOD THOUGHTS... working out helps too, chemicals / endorphins can add to a positive attitude.
Good Luck. Don't be so hard on yourself and remember, no one thinks the bad things about you that you think about yourself. Don't be your own worst enemy.
Question: How do I become a happy go lucky person? Because im usually feeling stressed and depressed and tired because I just had a few major friend problems at school...
And I want to change I want to be happy-go-lucky person a person who is always relaxed, happy, cheerful.
Answer: Nobody can always be happy. However, you can always be happiER =)
here are some tips:
You may just be unhappy because you have a lot of stressed stored up, as you mentioned. If you feel like crying, don't hold it in. Letting it out feels a lot better.
Your friend problems will also get better. These things happen in school, that's why adults joke that they would never want to go through that junior high/high school relationship turmoil again. Just try meeting new people, strike up conversations. (I know it's hard if you're shy, I am =)
but it never hurts to do it anyway.
Finally, just try to focus on the positive. Get in the habit of remembering the good and brushing off the bad feelings.
Showers also help reduce stress =)
Good luck!!!!!!
Question: How to I make my happy drinking bird work better? My happy drinking bird is very slow. How can I make my happy drinking bird drink water from the glass faster. I try adjusting the bird and it just gets worse.
Answer: The drinking bird is basically a heat engine that exploits a temperature differential to convert heat energy to kinetic energy and perform mechanical work. Like all heat engines, the drinking bird works through a thermodynamic cycle. The initial state of the system is a bird with a wet head oriented vertically with an initial oscillation on its pivot.
The cycle operates as follows:
The water evaporates from the head (Maxwell-Boltzmann distribution)
Evaporation lowers the temperature of the glass head (heat of vaporization)
The temperature drop causes some of the dichloromethane vapor in the head to condense
The lower temperature and condensation together cause the pressure to drop in the head (ideal gas law)
The pressure differential between the head and base causes the liquid to be pushed up from the base.
As liquid flows into the head, the bird becomes top heavy and tips over during its oscillations.
When the bird tips over, the bottom end of the neck tube rises above the surface of the liquid.
A bubble of vapor rises up the tube through this gap, displacing liquid as it goes
Liquid flows back to the bottom bulb, and vapor pressure equalizes between the top and bottom bulbs
The weight of the liquid in the bottom bulb restores the bird to its vertical position
If a glass of water is placed so that the beak dips into it on its descent, the bird will continue to absorb water and the cycle will continue as long as there is enough water in the glass to keep the head wet. However, the bird will continue to dip even without a source of water, as long as the head is wet, or as long as a temperature differential is maintained between the head and body. This differential can be generated without evaporative cooling in the head -- for instance, a heat source directed at the bottom bulb will create a pressure differential between top and bottom that will drive the engine. The ultimate source of energy is heat in the surrounding environment -- the toy is not a perpetual motion machine.
Therefore, you can't make it go faster. You can perhaps try a warmer temperater.
Question: What key sounds light and happy on the piano? I am taking lessons and my teacher wants me to compose a piece that sounds lighter and happy. I specialize in heavy dark pieces (Aminor anyone?) I just want a key that sounds "happy" and any advise on creating a song that is lighter.
Answer: This is completely subjective, and more to do with how you use your musical resources than the key. I would suggest listening to music that sounds light and happy to you, and ignoring the key while listening out for what the composer/s do with the music.
That being said, I hear G major through E major (i.e. G, D, A, and E) as being fairly light and happy, but they can sound otherwise depending on the musical content.
Question: Is it possible to stay happy in a marriage? I am divorced and I am in a new relationship and I am very happy, but I am just fearful that it could come to an end someday too. So many people get divorced these days and many people I know that are married, don't seem truly happy. So many of their marriages are based on materialism or they each have their own separate lives... I want so badly to be happily married forever. Is that impossible these days? What does it take and any suggestions on how to get over my fear of failure in my current relationship? Especially since it is going great.
Answer: What does it take? It takes making a decision to let the past go and that will take making a decision to forgive both the past man and yourself.
It's all about decisions and not allowing the past to dictate your future.
That happiness thing: Each of us is responsible for our own happiness. We cannot expect or hope for someone else to give us happiness or make us happy. I believe it's something two people can share with one another but not expect the other to produce. Happiness is something that an adult should already have manage to achieve before.
That Tom Cruise line in "Jerry MacGuire" is bogus-- "You complete me." That's something a person should BRING to the table not expect someone esle to "complete" and that wholeness of a person should include being a happy person.
That's WAY too much responsibility to put on someone else.
Many may not agree but that's what I believe: If you can't be happy with yourself there's no one who can "make" you happy.
And, yes, the next time could end too but do you want to live in fear or hopeful expectation? It's your choice.
Blessings.
___
Add-on: Is it possible? Yes, but you have to take steps to try. (On this one, I should "talk" -- nearly seven years separated. For me it's a financial situation. I hope for those papers every day and one day... If he doesn't I pray that I am favored with the $$$ to file myself. I DO plan to live and love again and hopefully meet someone to share the rest of my life with. Life is good and should be shared with someone.

Question: How do you keep your boyfriend happy in the relationship? Everythings fine in my relationship but I want to make him extra happy without being clingy and overwelming. Please don't comment with sexual jokes. I mean happy emotionally. Any tips? Anything I should avoid?
Answer: Avoid making him happy by changing your lifestyle and changing who you are. If he doesn't like who you are now then you don't belong with him. Anyways, take him on trips with you. Take him out to restaurants occassionally. Take him to the movies. Take him to the beach or a park. Tell him he's cute, and remind him that you really like him, but not too much, it can get annoying to some guys. Ask him what his favorite thing to do is and do it with him as long as its not something horrible. [:
Question: How to stay happy when every single person in your life is Depressed? Everyone I love is very unhappy and depressed, and for the first time in my life I'm happy. I don't really know what to do, I'm trying to help all of them while maintaining the happiness i've tried so long to achieve. ??
Answer: KEEP YOUR WELL BEING AS YOUR FIRST PRIORITY. Its ok to be concerned and give a listening ear, but misery loves company and it is contagious. If you feel like you helping them is starting to make you feel depressed or is bringing u down, then u may need to step back alittle. You can only help those who are willing to help themselves. Some of my friends are like that and it can make me cranky sometimes because it just seems that they are determined not to see the good in anything. They dont even try, so I have to put space between them sometimes for my own sanity. Being happy feels way too good so dont let anyone else ruin it.I go by this: Dont worry or stress over the things that you cannot change. Good Luck
