Long Life

Question: What is the difference between living a long life and living a relatively long life? I've seen where people have said that Senator Edward M. Kennedy, 77, lived a relatively long time and am having trouble understanding just what the difference between living a long life and living a relatively long life is. Age 77 is below the US current figure for average life expectancy anyway so anything below that seems premature. Answer this for me, please.

Answer: it means that he lived a fairly long life when compairing the average age of death for humans.
