Answer: If the items are on the store shelves, then you can buy them at any age. If the item listing on the shelf has a piece of paper that you have to take to the pharmacy to purchase (some inhalers, medications containing pseudophedrine, some types of cough and cold medicines, etc) then you have to be 18 years old and the pharmacist will ask you for identification before exchanging the paper for the product.

Answer: If you have a local GNC store, best to go in and compare formulas before you buy. All vitamins are not created equal. Also, you can get a gold card at GNC that allows you to get a discount for the first 10 days of each month. GNC is also available online. Other than that, I've tried The Vitamin Shoppe, and several others. They have all been good. Your local walgreens drug store often has buy one get one free specials (same or less price), and they are running one of those specials right now. That way you could try two things and pay for one.

Answer: most multivitamins are synthetic and not very well absorbed by the body. i always recomend a liquid shake like onesource optimal nutrition. there are others but thats what we use. just make sure you are getting one that is natural and not chemically fortified like ensure or muscle milk.

Answer: Prenatal vitamins don't help you conceive. You could take folic acid though prior to conception, it's recommended. Once you are pregnant, they are all the same. I buy generic brand prenatal vitamins.

Answer: Go to a health food store and they will let you know a popular brand that is right for you. Natural vitamins do not have additives like the ones you buy in big bottles at grocery stores. They fill them with additives so that they can make more for the money. Also try GNC as well.

Answer: yeah it does. I've taken vitamins from both and i really feel the difference. Vitamins are not something you want to go cheap on. The good vitamins at GNC (I take mega men sport) actually give you more energy and they make me feel like i have the energy to go exercise. The ones at the grocery store. Well i dont feel anything when i take those vitamins. I know i hate paying 45 bucks for a month supply of vitamins too, but the ones that cost 3.99 for 3 months supply at your local walmart are terrible. You really do get what you pay for. I could also recommend those vitamins at beachbody.com. Those are good vitamins, and only 20 dollars per month i believe, but i've had problems with them shipping them to me on time so i dont get them anymore.
