Answer: I've never heard arnica compaired to vicodin. It was always given to me when I was little if I got hurt (bumbs, scrapes, bruises) and it seemed to stop it from becoming worse and it also seemed to help with inflamation as well.

She said that it's best not to use arnica gel while pregnant just because of the herbs and oils that may be in the gel itself. She said that arnica is still one of the products that has little information on how arnica might affect a developing baby.
