Celadrin
Question: Has anyone ever tried CELADRIN, and if so, what were the results?
Answer: Yes, I tried it. I injured my back last year & the guy at the health food store told me to try it, so I did.
I was totally pain free for about 1 week, & then I guess my body got used to it & the pain came back.
Question: Celadrin supplements? Has anyone noticed a slight burning in the joints when starting Celadrin supplements? is this normal? Will it go away?
Answer: www.google.com has a great deal of information that you could use to find your answers , while yahoo answer is more likely to be better for people's opinions.. thanks.
Question: Has anyone had any experience with Celadrin or a mix...? of celadrin / MSM / fish oil for helping with felxability and while i working on strengthening my knees, to give a little bit of cushon etc?
Im about 2 years back into Kung fu (YJP) from a 6 year MA lull, and now were starting to get into some of the more advanced techniques. Im 32 now, so im not quite as naturally agile as i used to be, but working hard as can be to get back there (Lol jow is my friend!), and some knee damage from when i was in the service. I really do love this system, and dont want to have to start over in a different style if i can help it.
Also any recomendations on excersizes that would help? or just the constant repeptition im doing now?
I had a hard time when i first started again and of course with work have seen great improvement , but again with some of this more advanced technique, for instance tornado kicks, are painful on the joints...
Also its hard with my work schedule to get the proper foods etc... so i have to lean torwards suppliments, Id like to go herbal/natural if possible, but not against gnc.
Any other advice or help?
Thanks in advance!
Knees, Hip joints seem to be the primary issue at the moment ... ;)
Answer: Fish oil - 10-20 capsules daily. Helps fight inflammation. Find a high quality one, and you'll only have to take 4-10 capsules daily.
Cucurmin - Another great anti-inflammatory. We're just starting to see some scientific studies being published that supports its benefits.
There's really nothing out there that will help "cushion" your joints, at least nothing you should waste your money on. The main thing you need to worry about is inflammation. If you can minimize that, you'll be in great shape.
I'll be more than glad to post any kind of studies you need.
Question: anyone ever used celadrin? i have sle and been having a lot of swelling in my feet and hands i heard this was good for symptoms related to arthiritis, any body used this before or have any suggestions besides the typical ibprophen.
Answer: Celadrin is a unique formulation of esterified (stable) fatty acids that has been shown to reduce certain effects related to pronounced inflammatory processes that can occur in the body. Being a complex molecule consisting of various fatty acids, it is able to penetrate cell membranes, which enhances membrane permeability and cell-to-cell signaling. In doing so, Celadrin may reduce the level of inflammatory components of the immune system from binding to cells and thus causing occasional inflammation in different parts of the body. Both humans and animals have shown remarkable benefits of reduced pain and swelling, increased movement and reduction of inflammatory factors when using Celadrin.
Celadrin is an all natural ingredient developed after intensive research into natural and effective pain relief for people who suffer from Arthritis and Joint Pain. Celadrin has been clinically shown on numerous studies to provide fast acting and long term Pain Relief, Joint Health, Flexibility and improved quality of life on a cumulative basis.

Answer: Alec,
I'm sorry to hear you are in pain. I can empathize with you. We waste a lot of money on all of the newest "cures", but I'll tell you what helps most for the short term in an acute flareup:
Take your Gulcosamine Chondroitin, a chewable calcium, and your current NSAID, along with a 50 mg. tablet of Niacin. (NON timed release) Chew up the chewable calcium and the GC, (It actually doesn't taste that bad), and take the NSAID and Niacin whole with lots of warm water or herbal tea. The Niacin causes your smallest and farthest blood vessels, the "capillaries", to dilate and your skin to "flush". This may make you feel "hot", and/or "itchy". The heat helps soothe the pain of the acute flareup of the arthritis, and the increased circulation gets the GC, the calcium, and the NSAID into the joints. Don't do this every day as your body will adjust to the Niacin and stop working.
Oh yeah; NSAID=
N= Non
S= Steroidal
A= Anti
I= Inflammatory
D= Drug
Such as Aspirin, Ibuprofen, Naproxen, Indocin, Methotrexate, Vioxx,. etc.

Answer: Madam,
First of all, you are overweight. For your height you should not cross 60-62 kgs. Secondly, have the doctors has diagnosied the reason for which you have the knee pain. At this age, arthiritis normally should not come but it may be hereditary. Kindly chek it up. If it is really arthiritis kindly follow some of the steps detailed below.
1. Do not sit or lie on the ground, as far as possilbe. You can manage things at the chair & table, it is quite good.
2. Do not use oily food which will increase your weight.
3. Do little exercise which tolerable by you. Walk as far as possible but do not do it forcibly.
4.Avoid pain killers, to the extent possible.
5.Avoid rice, potatoes, pumpkin, sweet pumpkin, groundnut,
6.Use lot of curry leaves in your food. Do not consume thick curds, butter, etc.
7.I suggest an external application (ayurvedic) 'Kottamchukkadi Thailam' which is available with AVP at the entrance of the cunningham road from Coffee board side.
8.Keep the knee warm. Give hot water therapy, which will give lot of relief in cold seasons like the present one.
Wish you goodluck.
