Question: Where can I purchase DSMO (Dimethyl Sulfoxide)? What it is used for:
When you mix the product with a bit of DSMO, the DSMO carries the product deeper into the body so that the tissue can be affected. That is one of the purposes of using it.
Is it available at retail stores? I don't know about any regulations of buying it so can you please help me because I don't feel comfortable getting it online.
Answer: As DMSO is a dietary supplement that is used for various health problems such as interstitial cystitis in the bladder you should be able to get it from health stores.
You can probably get it from a Chemist or a Pharmacist as well.
Question: I notice something on my penis? I have HSV 1 in both areas. But yesterday I noticed a wart pop up on my forskin. So i assuming my ex gave me HPV as well as herpes. so anyways something don't look right. The foreskin to me looks little darker than usual. I am on H202 therapy and olive leaf extract which has eliminated my outbreaks but since wart popped looks like the skin lil darker (uncircumsized) Can any one fill me in, should I be concerned.
I kno it has gotten dark when I have my outbreak but when healed it was pink. But i think i was having at outbreak other day and nothing popped up because I applied DSMo cream and drank my h202 with water.
I was havin sex with my gf of two years
Answer: I don't think he said that he was having sex with someone else, he said his ex gave him both the herp and HPV.
HPV can lie dormant for years, so it may not have been your ex. I don't know about the change in skin color, but if you're worried you should go to the doctor. But you should also read the CDC fact sheet on HPV, it made me feel better. Apparently there are no major health risks associated, and it usually goes away on its own. I had no idea! But that's no reason to be irresponsible, because it can cause cervical cancer in women. Not to mention you don't want to spread the herp.
Go to the doctor, ease your mind. I'm sure you're fine. Good luck:-)
Question: has anybody tried this product called dmso?? theres a product that's called dsmo, this products supposed to cure moles and etc! if anybody used it, id like to know what is there reaction to it please. thank you
Answer: DMSO is just a "universal solvent". It will not "cure moles", but if you get enough of it on your skin, it WILL eventually destroy your liver!
Question: Can MSM show up in urine analysis as excess protein? I'm a controlled type 2 diabetic with at or below normal blood pressure and recently injured my knee. I applied DMSO (liquid sulphur) to control the pain. The next day I had a standarized urine test and it came back alarmingly high since the last, showing high levels of protein. Since using DSMO and now switched to MSM, my sugar levels are to the point that I am now able to start reducing my insulin because my blood glucose numbers are so low. Because of the protein found my doctor wants me to go off the sulphur in case that is causing the protein in the urine. I do not want to stop using this miracle drug for my diabetes and she also wants to double my blood pressure medicine to see if that would help. My blood pressure already is very low and I don't want to go lower. So would the detoxification by the MSM show up as protein in my urine?
Answer: No... MSM is an organic form of Sulfur, not Protein. They are entirely different types of molecules.
However, if you are having an odd reaction to the MSM that is causing you to excrete protein (never heard of that happening, but you never know), then actual protein would come out... but I doubt it would. Also, if your doctor were testing your urine, he could test for Sulfur to see if you were still taking it.
On the flip side of all that, there are some herbs and supplements that help with blood sugar support (Sulfur doesn't directly support it, so you probably wouldn't get as many benefits for blood sugar... but it does help the joints). The most popular ones are Cinnamon, Gymnema Sylvestre, Fenugreek, Alpha Lipoic Acid, Chromium, and Vanadium.
In any case, I wish you luck!
Question: Sn2 vs Sn1 reaction properties? for a simple reaction where RCH2-X is the substrate where Nu is denoted as the nucleophile and X is the leaving group. Nu- + RCH2-X --> RCH2-Nu + X-.
The rate of the Sn1 reaction will _____ when the solvent is changed from hexane to water.
1)The rate of the Sn1 reaction will _____ if the R group is changed from H to C6H5
2)The rate of Sn2 reaction will ____ if the nucleophile is changed from I- to Cl-
3)The rate of the Sn1 reaction will _____ when the solvent is changed from water to DSMO
4)The rate of reaction will ____ when the leaving group X is changed from I to Cl
Answer: 1) Increase because the polar solvent can better stabilize the carbocation and the leaving group.
2) Increase because a phenyl group is an electron withdrawing group, and can stabilize the carbocation through resonance.
3) Decrease, because I- is a poor nucleophile (ie, it is a good leaving group)
4) Decrease because DMSO is aprotic and can't stabilize the leaving group as well.
5) Decrease because I- is a much better leaving group than Cl-.
Question: How to remove DSMO from water?
Answer: Do you mean DMSO (dimethyl sulfoxide)? Bacterial
decomposition of dimethyl sulfoxide during wastewater treatment can result in the release of dimethyl sulfide (a volatile substance with a strong disagreeable odor).

Answer: Yes, DMSO is used to get compounds across the skin barrier. Just be careful what you get across it.
You can buy DMSO on eBay at
http://rover.ebay.com/rover/1/711-53200-19255-0/1?icep_ff3=9&pub=5574634183&toolid=10001&campid=5335994191&customid=&icep_uq=DMSO&icep_sellerId=&icep_ex_kw=&icep_sortBy=12&icep_catId=&icep_minPrice=&icep_maxPrice=&ipn=psmain&icep_vectorid=229466&kwid=902099&mtid=824&kw=lg
eBay has some pretty strict guidelines about selling stuff legally so I am sure it is fine if they sell it, especially more than one seller at a time.
Question: From where does DSMO come from and why, no matter whose selling, does the same tree appear on the label? I've just started using it. Trying to determine if it is the "miracle" it is supposed to be. What results have any one else had?
Answer: Hey i think what you meant is DMSO (Dimethyl Sulfoxide). It's synthetic derived, and is a by-product of wood-pulping. As synthetic compound derived, it will be just labeled as the compound, which will appear as: DMSO.
DMSO has been quite effective for treating arthritis and pain-relief.
However, DMSO is not recommended for those who are healthy, some physicians do not recommend the use of DMSO due to concerns about safety and questions about efficacy.
There's another safe alternative of DMSO, which is MSM (methylsulfonylmethane), which is widely available in the form of supplement, and oral supplement does not show any toxic effect.
