How To Choose Energy Drinks
Question: When are the effects of the Red Bull Energy Drink going to kick in? I've never tried energy drinks before. I am a 19 year old female.
I need to keep up the near-allnighters for this entire week and when I started getting dizzy and could hardly even move today I had to buy an energy drink so I chose Red Bull...because I like the commercials lol.
Anyways, I'm sipping it right now and am curious when the effects will kick in and how I will feel.
Do I need to drink the entire can or do I even need a second can?

Answer: Caffeine normally takes about 20 minutes to kick in.
Don't have another can, if you haven't had energy drinks before the effect will be greater, so you'll be fine.

I drank rockstars for 3 years straight almost every day except for sat and sudays when i wasnt at work. i quit cold turkey didnt have a withdrawal. now mentaly i dont have any dependancy on them, because i enjoy the fact that i have lost weight more than they taste

i think like all things that within moderation that energy drinks are okay if you need them, but if you are just tired and sitting on your butt allday maybe they arent the best choice for you.
Question: energy drinks - how bad are they for you? Whenever i drink energy drinks i notice i eat far less because i don't feel so tired when i have them! I don't drink them very often, only when i feel like i really need one like when doing all-nighters to get some big essay done etc. if i have them i choose sugar free ones.
So my question is, could this method help me lose weight? i mean, since i eat less all in all could energy drinks aid weightloss?
and how unhealthy are they really for the body? i'm no big fan of artificial sweeteners but i have to stay away from sugar because it makes my acne bloom.
would it be very bad to have energy drinks on a daily basis?

Answer: Energy drinks are only for when you are very fatigued. They are NOT part of a healthy, or even a normal, diet.
And yes it would be bad to drink them on a daily basis. Very, very bad. Harmful, for sure, if you consume them instead of food. They are supposed to come *on top of* it, and only when you're totally exhausted.
Question: How to test for sugar levels in drinks-energy apple e.g.? Well we're doing a project and i chose to find the sugar levels in drinks. Now the only problem i have is HOW to do that... So is there any easy experiments-no blood test things, i don't wanna poke myself 10 times for ten drinks. It's just the plain drink. So could i evaporate it or stick something in?
So please help, and if you can't explain just give me a name of the experiment and i'll do research, sigh.

Answer: that is an easy method but with that method you can burn sugar so the most efficient test is using the Tes-Tape strips for sugar you find them from pharmacy

Question: Help i am tring to quit caffeine!? I have gradually overtime become Dependant on drinking caffeinated drinks to either wake me up or give me energy.
These drinks include just coke products like vault, ect. and highly caffeinated drinks like redbull, amp, monster, full throttle, ect.
I am trying to make a healthier choice on which drinks i choose and am not able to stop drinking caffeine! My first attempt was to just quit drinking it period. Which after about 4 or 5 days i cracked. My 2nd attempt was to gradually reduce how much caffeine I drink which was my worse try because some days your really thirsty and other days your not so it was difficult for me to determine how much to drink. My last try was to find a replacement, which I choose snapple. I really like snapple and it's a lot better for you but i still sneak in caffeine drinks because they're cheaper. WHAT else can i do!?
Answer: You might buy "Morning Thunder" tea by Celestial Seasonings - it has natural energy enhancement, less caffeine. I down tons of caffeine, myself, but this woke me up pretty well. If you don't like hot tea, add ice.
Question: what is an example of a health-related behavior or a health-protective behavior? I have to write a paper on either one. I must choose a behavior. I am not sure what to do. I was looking for something dealing with kids. The majority of people are writing about such things as "why do people get addicted to drinking energy drinks" or "how does peer pressure influence alcohol abuse". Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!
Answer: How about writing about depression which causes people to behave a certain way due to chemical imbalance in the brain. Or even more interesting would be something like OCD or Bi-Polar. You could address the issue of people taking mood altering drugs for these types of conditions, etc.
Question: energy drink (NOS) YAYAYAYAYAYAY? i saw people saying drinking energy drinks every day is bad, how about twice a week?
and the drink i was concidering was nos, becuase im a import adict, and it has an effect on me that when i drink a whole 22oz, i have energy for 2 hours, crash for 3min, and boost me up for another 3 hours.........

Answer: You can do with 2 energy drinks a week.

Answer: you could sell the nucleus as a safe. And say that it protects valuables inside very well and it's of easy access (because of the pores) but very strict at letting things out. (DNA is first transcribed into mRNA, which then leaves the nucleus)

Answer: your best option is to eat a banana 30 mins beforehand as it will be quickly digested into energy and also keep yourself hydrated before, during and after the game with lots of water. after the game eat something like fruit or some pasta just to get your energy levels back.

Question: Im Trying To LoseWeight One Problem Is I Dont Know What To Put On My ShoppingList Or If My ExercisePlan is Ok? 16, 5'3", F, 86kgs Goal weight is 52-60 kgs but ideal weight calculated is 55kgs. I will do 45mins running on treadmill 4 days a week. Days in between I will be doing weights and skipping and maybe some light walking/running for less than 20mins on treadmill. I am becoming a vegetarian of eating no meat but still eating eggs and dairy.
Ill be eating 1200cals. I will be getting my protein from eggs, nuts, up and go energy drink which is high in fibre and protein same for my cearel.
How much you reckon I can lose 3-4months if I can lose the 75pounds like Jared Fogle lost 100lbs in 3months.

Answer: I am 16 and have been obese before but have slim down successfully. I am here to share how to achieve it so read on, it may change your life. IF YOU ARE FRIGHTEN ABOUT HOW LONG THE PASSAGE IS, just read the 2nd and 5th paragraph onwards about mindset and setting a target.
Firstly, you have to have the mindset to lose weight! Without it you would not be as successful. In the past when i am over-weight, I did not care about my body and continued living, thinking that it would be alright growing up fat but society are just as cruel... I did not change until an incident which inspires me to be healthy and look good.
So you need to think of a target and the reasons for you to lose weight. It could be anything like wanting to look good or for health reasons. Anytime you feel like giving up, think of your target and work towards it.
Secondly, food intake should be lesser by 1/5 but eat all your 3 meals. And only eat when you are hungry although there are times when you do not know you are hungry or not(like me, weird stomach) so stick to your meals. Of course, eat healthier food. Details of healthy food or how to make it healthy can be found in the Internet or books.
Thirdly, find a sport or activity that will make you lose weight. Make that activity like your personal habit and do it often. I chose basketball as my friends play it and now i am good at it so make a wise decision of which sport to choose and go for it, no slacking. Surely there would be difficult as you would be in a disadvantage as you would be look down on because of your size. For example, you are playing soccer with your friends and they choose you to be the goalkeeper because of your size. That means you would be standing at the goalpost most of the time- result, no weight loss. Repel! Say that you want to be another position like a striker and make them pay! Go for the ball! Play the game like you would not play it again! Play it with your heart! That way you could take advantage of your desires- result, a lot of weight loss.
I could not go on cause of time limit and laziness, although I still can say a lot. But the mindset thing is already enough, the most important aspect of losing weight is that! REMEMBER, every time when you are about to give up, every time when you are lazy to go out to exercise, every time when you want to eat extra, every time you step into a fast food restaurant AND every time you are tempted to do sometime that you know that would foil your attempt on losing weight, think about your target, about what you have been through for the past years, being look down because of your size. If that is not enough of a reason... Think of your FUTURE, predict. What would you be like when you grow up. Would you get the boyfriend/girlfriend that you are dreaming for? Or someone who you would marry for the sake of marrying. Or do you think you could get a partner that you like just with your character or personality alone? That only happens in fairy tales... The modern world is not that kind nowadays.
So come on! Change yourself! Do your body a favor! Give yourself a chance to make yourself look good. Whenever you feel like losing hope, read this again and think about what you can achieve when you lost every pounds of fats and attain your dream body. That would be enough for you to make the decision to change for yourself.
I ended up typing too much, lol. So all this are from my personal point of view and all comes from experience. Haha, maybe I should be a weight loss counselor or something.
