Propecia
Question: How much does Propecia cost in Hong Kong and where can I buy it there without a prescription? I have been using Regaine spray for a few years, but find that it does not lead to any significant hair regrowth. Is there any medication is more effective than Regaine and Propecia? I think that my hair loss is at stage 2 or 3 and I very much hope to find some topical or oral medication that is effective in reversing my hair loss.
Answer: WHAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Question: Is Propecia 1 mg safe if trying to get pregnant? Hi. My husband was prescribed Propecia by a "Doctor" at Bosley (hair restoration company). We are afraid it will effect our pregnancy planning this year. Anyone know anything? Thanks so much and Merrry Christmas!
Answer: Women who are or may potentially be pregnant must not use PROPECIA and should not handle crushed or broken PROPECIA tablets because the active ingredient may cause abnormalities of a male baby’s sex organs. If a woman who is pregnant comes into contact with the active ingredient in PROPECIA, a doctor should be consulted. PROPECIA tablets are coated and will prevent contact with the active ingredient during normal handling, provided that the tablets are not broken or crushed.
So in other words, the hubby can probably take it, but you just need to make sure you never come in contact with it yourself.

Question: Has anyone taking propecia for male pattern baldness experienced sadness or depression as a result of the drug My son began to take propecia a month ago. He is also using Rogaine. I am sensing a serious emotional reaction - he is sadder, seems depressed, cries easily. These are not his usual personality traits. I am wondering if anyone has experienced this as a result of taking propecia.
Answer: Propeciasideeffects.com was formed to spread the word about the undocumented potentially irreversible side effects caused by using Propecia (finasteride) 1mg each day. A number of males have suffered erectile dysfunction, impotence, low libido and gynecomestica after using Propecia. The shattering truth for these males is that the side effects did not disappear after ceasing finasteride. The shattering truth is that years later these individuals are still suffering in silence with a seriously reduced quality of life due to erectile dysfunction and impotence. It is not know exactly what causes these changes and how to screen individuals before treatment.

Question: I have to decided to stop taking propecia because of the side effects. However i want to atleast maintain my? Hair. Should the transition from Propecia to say Rogaine be pretty smooth? Should I take Rogaine with propecia for awhile then slowly get off Propecia? I just can't take the sexual sideeffects of Propecia anymore even though it has worked great as far as my hair is concerned.
Answer: Rogaine only helped maintain the hair i had when i used it, if propecia is stalling your sex life stop using it and try the rogaine, hope this helps
Question: Does your hair stop falling out the first couple days you start taking propecia? If i notice my hair is falling out early and i start taking propecia will it stop stop falling out the first couple days or weeks
Answer: propecia is bad for you, manoxodil is much better, but again its a short term solution. Best thing is laser as it reopens the folicals and allows better blood flow to the scalp, many laser places give manoxodil as part of their treatment as it speeds up the results. dont waste money of propecia.
Hope that helps
Good luck
Question: How long did it take before you saw any results from Propecia? I started taking Propecia (well, the generic version of it, Finasteride 1mg) but I'm still really depressed cause I can obviously still see my scalp from my hair loss. How long did it take before you saw any results? Also, did your hair grow back at all in the front and at the temples, or just at the crown? Did you use Rogaine as well? I want to start using it since my doc said the two medications have a synergistic effect, but I'm afraid of the "shedding" phase...
Answer: Just do it. In my case I was losing my hair from the crown and yes it was a bi%$# to see all that shedding but hey 4 months later my hair was coming back and I'm on my 5 month and my scalp is completely gone. All those comments that I'm going bald stop all of a sudden. They don't even remember I was losing my hair, and I was shedding (before taking propecia) in the front but propecia help me keep everything I have but it didn't do much for my hair growth, I noticed it on my 3 month so I started to use both Propecia and Rogaine FOAM (a lot cleaner and dries faster) and 5 months since taking propecia and I don't have to hide my face anymore. Good luck man, Use both and give it time its well worth going thru the shedding process.
Question: Is there any harmful effects with mixing LSD and Propecia? I plan on trying LSD with a friend, but I take Propecia. Would there be any harm in taking LSD while taking Propecia?
Answer: If you were only allowed to own one car in your entire lifetime would you trash it, or would you take very good care of it and make it last?
You only get one body, why are trashing it? A third grader should be able to logic better than you. Duh
Question: Where is the cheapest Propecia or maybe a generic? I started taking Propecia about 6 years ago and was paying about $165 for 90 pills. A couple days ago I paid $203 for 90 pills at Walmart. Does anyone know of a cheaper place to get this pill or perhaps if there is a generic of Propecia?
Thanks a lot
Answer: Generic Propecia (finasteride) is ok. I use it with same results, and unfortunately same sides(a bit dry feeling in the scalp) as brand preopecia. Have tried lots of herbal crap before it and laser combs, so far the only thing that prevents my hairloss, not much regrowth, but has stopped my hairloss completely.
I buy from this pharmacy for the last 2 years - http://www.1rx.biz/generic_propecia.html It is under $1 per pill as I buy the 90 pills. (89$ for 90)
Question: Does anyone know if Propecia the hair loss pill cause dehydration? It does not mention it on the side effects information label.....but there has been times when I have woken up in the morning feeling really dehydrated. Don't know if Propecia might be the cause of it.
Answer: Many, many prescription and even non prescription medications cause some annoying side effects ,,, dehydration is a very common one to experience.
(Finasteride)Propecia a hair loss medication targets the skin and hair follicles. Sometimes affecting the bodies ability to sweat and regulate body temperature. Only way to combat this is lots of water ... maybe keep a bottle of water beside your bed at night.
Just rest assured this is a to be expected side effect and nothing to worry about. Annd one you can live with if the drug actually works, right? lol
***ACTUALLY IT DOES TARGET THE FOLLICLES AS WELL ... AS WELL AS INCREASING THE PRODUCTION OF TESTOSTERONE ,,, THOUGH I DID NOT TOUCH ON THIS BECAUSE IT IS IN NO RELATION TO THE CAUSE OF THE ASKERS DEHYDRATION ... WHICH I DO BELIEVE TO BE A COMMON REACTION OF SUCH MEDS.
Question: Hair Loss trying a med called Propecia does this work or no? Hi, I need some help with my problem, at 24 years old i start
to loss my hair, now at 30 years i lost a lot, 2 weeks ago i went to a hair transplant doctor,he said try a pill called Propecia.
Is this pill any good?
Does it help?
As any one seeing hair grow back or lossing more?
Any one had any bad side affects from this med?
Thanks for any help.
Answer: Do An ANSWERS search and you will find Propecia users all say it has not helped.
After many years of research and self experimentation this was the only natural treatment I found that stops thinning and loss almost straight away and also produces new growth. My hair has completely regrown on crown. Where receded at front regrowth has been slower, but has virtually grown back to original hair line and though sparse at beginning, each month it became denser. Massage thoroughly with natural oils - olive oil is excellent - then using a palm held short bristled brush (soft natural boar bristles) brush vigorously so you really feel it stimulating scalp (90 /100 strokes or even more each day focusing on where loss is). After scalp adjusts you can increase brushing to 150 strokes. Will unplug blocked hair ducts indicated by painful small spots like pimples and a cause of hair loss and It will grow faster, thicker and It will force the new growth. Brushing before you apply oil is equally OK. A little shedding and breakage may occur at first but quickly stops as hair gets better anchored and stronger. Initially hairs will be weak looking and sparse. Don't be concerned if brushing uproots them as they will re-appear even stronger. It demands perseverance week in, week out to get the same results. I've found most do not persevere and so fail to get them. But have heard from some who have had equal if not better success. One of main causes of loss are harmful shampoos and even more harmful dandruff shampoos and too frequent washing. Do a Google to find safe, non harmful products then shop for them at GNC, Trader Joes, Wegmans, Cost plus, Earth Fare, some Walmart stores, and natural health stores.
Genetics probably are a factor in hair loss. My immediate family members have severe loss. I believe this treatment saved me from the same fate. Try it you will be happy that you did!

Question: I take propecia for hair loss. Will this work because I am on kidney dialysis or will it get washed away? Most meds get washed away. I am wondering if Propecia will get washed away or because I only dialyze 3 days a week, if it will still work.
Answer: from what I hear propecia needs to be taken regularly but even diluted it seems to work somewhat. Some people have even been able to split a 1mg pill into 4 and it still works. I had bad side effects from propecia so I stopped taking it long ago. Maybe you should try some topical DHT blocker instead? like revivogen.
Question: Does anyone know of a reliable source for generic Propecia? I see a lot of websites offering incredible deals for generic Propecia. Does anyone have any experience ordering this stuff? Are they all scams? Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
Answer: we have been buying a number of our prescription meds from http://low-cost-rx.com/ and they have been very reliable. they even guarantee delivery and they mean it, one time a package got delayed and they offered to send a replacement without any problems, plus their meds come well wrapped and work well
Question: Is it a big deal if I forget to take Propecia one day? I have been taking Propecia for about a month now and have been pretty good about remembering to take it every day. I forgot to take it last night and am wondering what the effect is of one day without it. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.
Answer: There are no side effects to missing it for a day. Just dont do it often or you will not be getting what you paid for,,,, your hair. Propecia takes somtimes up to 6 months to even start working. After taking it for that long you may notice some hair growth, More then likely you will just notice that you are no longer losing your hair as fast. If you stop propecia it will take about 6 months for the newly grown hair to fall out. This is because of the cycles of hair growth that occur in all of us.
Question: Is there any thing not relating to surgery for those of us with receding hair lines, other than propecia.? I have used propecia with sucess for many years however now it is effecting my lobito. I find my self now looking for other remedies. Any suggestions? Non surgical please.
