No one in my family beleives that I can take care of and support a dog of my own, not even my friends. Its hard to know that the only person you can count on to beleive in you is yourself. Not having a dog has had a major impact on my middle school life. I can't participate in school activities having to do with animals. I can't take feild trips to humain societies without bursting out into tears. I see people who have dogs and don't take care of them and I get mad. I am very elegable to do things around the house, but when I try I am never agnolaged. I don't think my parents understand how I feel, or what it's like to be in my shoes. They both had five dogs when they were growing up. How could I convince my parents that I am responsible enough to take care of a dog?

These are the number one things you need to worry about when trying out. 1. Be SHARP! do every motion as tight and sharp as you can. Even for your jumps, if they aren't high and suck, as long as your prep is sharp you're all good. 2.SMILE! when you're doing your cheer, chant, and dance for tryouts always smile. show your enthusiasm. Don't worry about it looking fake. After you cheer for a while, it will be normal to smile at all times. 3. At tryout practices, do all of these things because they are watching. If they see how much you want it, see your energy, and how well you work with with everyone its your secret ticket. There have been so many girls that did not make the squad who have been on it in the past because they gave the coaches or other girls on the squad attitude during tryouts. 4. A tip is to always try to get in the frount row when your learning the tryout routines even if you're a slow learner (like me) and when you go to tryout, spirit in as much as possible. Do that cartwheen and if you can, do a roundoff. You have all the skills and i'm sure you'll make it. In 7th grade everyone is so nervous because its their first year.
