Answer: Depending how bad the abuse was,if severe the dog may be marked forever.It will be very hard to undo the damage,but is possible to get through to him.I would have the men down on the floor watching tv or something,let the dog approach the man instead at his level..

Question: What is a model/mfr of Headset for landline phone? I have a an old landline phone - just the standard modular connectors. I want to talk hands free - so I need either a headset that attaches to the hand-set jack, or a phone+headset that I can attached to the phone line. Question: My daughter is on windows im and checks a hands free box when in a conference. How do I do this on mac osx? My family is able to talk hands free in Yahoo Instant messaging. It seems all the family is in a windows operating system and I am the only Mac user. They are telling me when they conference each other they use their web cams and are "hands free" by checking a box in the conference they use. Answer: Unfortunately, Yahoo doesn't cater to Mac (and other non-windows) users as much as Windows users. This can be proven with Yahoo Messenger v2.5.3 that wasn't updated for 2 and a half years until the recent 3.0 beta came along. But there may still be hope for your situation, but you'll have to work hard at it. You can run Virtual PC on your PPC based Mac or Parallel Desktop (http://www.apple.com/downloads/macosx/system_disk_utilities/parallelsdesktopformac.html ) or something similar to run the Windows version of Yahoo Messenger. Another solution may be to use the Jabber portion of iChat with a yahoo messenger transport to communicate. I haven't found a completely compatible transport, but I give up easily sometimes...lol That's all I can think of for now, but just remeber that you own a Mac, and although your IM experiance is somewhat limited, you enjoy features that Windows users can't even fathom.

Question: Poker pros try to get people in the hand to talk to see if there weak - what do they look for and pick up on? I've seen many times on poker shows where the poker pro tries to get the person he/she is playing to talk and from this the pro seems to be know if the opponent is strong or weak. I've tried doing it but when I get them to speak I can't tell if there strong or weak - what do the pro's look for when someone is speaking to them? What do they pick up on? Thanks!

Answer: It's a gut call thing mostly, because if someone knows how to present signals then they can present false signals. That being said... Weak hand - Avoiding eye contact (why do you think you always ask liars to look you in the eye?) hand over mouth (subconscious move to hide the lie coming out of your mouth) overly aggressive (trying to scare you out of the hand) nervous ticks (playing with earrings, hair, ring, but NOT playing with their poker chips. I'll explain that later.) Strong Hand - Shaky hands or voice (shaky does not mean scared, it means adrenaline from a strong hand. This is one of the best tells against average and weak players) Quiet and reserved, ignoring the hand like it means nothing (they don't want to scare you out of the hand because they want you to bet into their strong hand) Playing with chips (Playing with chips is not a nervous action but a subconscious action of a strong hand. Chips = money, a stong hand = chance of winning more chips.) Direct and confident eye contact when spoken to (nothing to hide, subconsciously they are willing to meet the eyes of their opponent since they believe they have a fighting chance.) Again, good players can control and misuse these signals, so take it all with a grain of salt and it's really a gut instinct.

Question: I want to listen to my ipod touch 2nd gen and be able to talk hands free in the car.? We're moving and driving across country. I would like to listen to my ipod touch in the car but also get a bluetooth device that I can use to talk hands free in the car - it's a law in CA. I was looking at a fm transmitter for the touch and bluetooth speakerphone that clips to the visor. Is there a product that does both? Don't want to spend too much - I don't use a cell phone much. I don't mind two products, just don't know if there is one that would accomplish both. I also want to stay away from after market face plates for the car radio.

Answer: well bluetooth headsets generally suck, but that's because i didn't spend $150. And for fm trans miters, they usually don't give very good quality, a cd in mp3 format would be better. Now Ford has a feature called sync where you can hook up your phone and ipod and not have to touch anything, its quite amazing.

Question: What is the best way to calm a nervous horse without the use of treats? I'm talking hand motions, pressure points...anything.

Answer: We bought a little mare that had no handling what so ever and this is what I did. Because horses are herd animals I kept her in a large box stall alone. The only company she had was me. At first I just fed her and talked to her then would let her into the large barn area while I cleaned her stall. Then put her back in. Then I sat on a pail in the corner of the box stall and just talked while she ate. I then introduced a brush and would brush like one of her sides. lol then slowly everyday I would touch more and more of her body. It got so she looked for me because her and I were now the "herd". It was slow and gentle all the way and now she comes up to get scratched will lift her feet she is doing really good. She especially enjoys a good massage from her poll to her knees.

Question: How, do i talk to people? yes i can speak, but i can mostly talk about small talk... and i wasnt so social in highschool, so i dont know much about mature talk either. So how do i talk maturely and interesting? Answer: Just be yourself. The most important thing is to increase the number of encounters you have with people. The more you talk to people, the better you get at it. It will be really awkward at first. but it'll feel natural with time. Don't try to tell people what you think they want to hear, because you would be being fake and still won't learn nothing in the long-run.

Answer: Usually holding hands and hugging comes after you can talk to someone and feel comfortable with them. I think you got ahead of the game and need to step back a bit.
