Question: Why do people find it hard to forgive others when Allah ta'ala can easily forgive if we ask for forgiveness? Salamulaykoum. Allah ta'ala is above the heavens and Al-Khaliq (the Creator) when we humans are merely just the creation, so why are humans not forgiving? Lol you wana know something funny, some woman told me that she'll never forgive me for being a muslim...Like wth?

Answer: The most important knowledge is the knowledge about Allah. We should understand his names and greatness as well as memorizing. See Allah's attributes are far greater than man. When we say Ar - Rahman and Ar - Raheem this is the ALL FORGIVING which no one can encompass his forgiveness since it is so great. his forgiveness is so great that it is beyond our capacity to understand. Every single one of his names is like that. The knowledge about Allah is our foundation. As us people we are insignificant and weak, We are proud - yet we do not realise that Allah's greatness in ALL his names and attributes are far greater than us and we dont understand that even an atom of pride will lead us to hell. In the Qur'an Allah says retalliation is allowed but pardoning is better. And those who retalliate back should be equal in retalliation to the one who harmed him and Allah will be on his side. But imagine the one who pardons (pardoning meaning completely forgiving in the heart and forgetting the mistake) imagine how much Allah will be on his side.

Question: Can you start Homeschooling if you child has gotten in big trouble and now must attend ALA? My child has gotten into big trouble and now has to attend an Alternative Learning Academy (ALA). Can I withdraw him from public school and start homeschooling so he does not have to take part in this punishment? Answer: HHmmm !!! This kind of depends how BIG the "big trouble" actually is. If he is only in school / education department type trouble then I can see no reason why you can't just remove him from school, decide what he wants to study and begin homeschooling. BUT if its legal and criminal type trouble and the court system is involved you may have to take it up with the powers that be.... youth justice department or whatever your little darling is involved with. Either way be honest, above board and voice your reasons for wanting to homeschool. No children ever got better behaved from mixing with naughtier kids than themselves, and thats exactly what these alternative education places are. Places where good kids [derailed slightly] mix with naughty kids and pick up even better ideas for being HEAPS naughtier next time. Answer: This is from Italian Cuisine. There is a saying: if you wouldn't drink it, don't cook with it.. But I don't drink vodka and like very much this sauce. Any fine vodkas should work well. There are many, many variations, with amounts of vodka varying from 3 Tablespoons to 1/4 to 1/3 cups. One recipe uses 1 cup vodka to a quart of tomato sauce. This is a simple recipe that works well for my family. Give it a try. PENNE WITH VODKA SAUCE 1 lb. penne macaroni 2 tbsp. olive oil 2 cloves garlic, minced 1/2 onion 1 can crushed tomatoes 1 can tomato paste 1/3 c. melted butter 3 oz. vodka 3/4 c. heavy cream 3 leaves fresh basil Saute garlic and onion in olive oil. Add tomatoes and paste. Simmer for 1 1/2 hours. After 1 1/2 hours, add melted butter, vodka and basil and cook for another 45 minutes. Cook penne. Add heavy cream to sauce and cook for another 15 minutes. Strain penne and pour sauce over and serve.

Answer: I am a revert and live 60 minutes drive from any other Muslims [when in UK] so I am the only Muslim in my birth family, I have wife who has a large [and I mean Large!! ] Muslim family 8000 miles away. I have no real friends since I reverted to Islam, than ran away as fast as they could and anybody would think I shad suddenly grown horns, now I have just a few people I know who I get along with. With my birth family there is a "reserved acceptance" that I am a Muslim but I was never really close to them anyway, I was closest to my mum who really kept the whole family together but since she died 3 years ago the family drifted apart. WOW - I just read this back and it looks really sad, honestly it isn't I have a pretty good life and was always a bit of a loner anyway more interested in motorcycles and books and never went to the pub anyway. Bringing our lives closer to Allah [swt] for my wife and me is by mainly remembering that we are Muslims all day and reminding each other of our little mistakes in life, spending time together reading the Qu'ran every day after Maghrib, sometimes only a few verses and either silently reflecting on the content or discussing it, but absorbing it.
