Question: How bad should I let my shortness of breath get before going to the emergency room? I've been having shortness of breath, constantly, for about a week. I went to the doctor today, and she booked me some tests for tomorrow. However, in the past couple hours it's been getting worse and worse. But, it is not so bad that I'm literally gasping for breath. How bad should I allow it to become before going to the ER? What symptoms should I watch for tonight? Should I just wait it out?
Answer: Go to the doctor as soon as you can. Just because you are not gasping for breath doesn't mean that you can wait.

Question: What bad effects does pancake do to your health? I've been eating banana pancakes daily (their delicious!) and well i want to know the bad effects of pancakes if their are any because or else this will lead to a bad health. So if you got any info on the bad effects of pancakes, thanks!
Answer: There might be two things to worry about for your health question to be answered fully. The banana's have potassium in them. Great for your heart but too much potassium and it can also be really bad for it too. Potassium can cause damage to the heart so be careful about that. Then there is the batter that these pancakes are made with. The flour has carbohydrates. Too much of this will put the pounds on very quickly if you don't exercise routinely. I might be wrong, but this might carry complex carbs, which is an even larger problem all the way around. This will effect not only your waist but the gallbladder too. Then if you also add any type of syrup the sugar in that is packed full of deliscous calories any way you look at it you are eating allot of calories, carbs and potassium in just one plate. So, the key word is still moderation with anything you eat. Granted some things you will just prefer to eat, but that doesn't make it good for you either. If you are only eating these for one meal then count them wisely in one of the earliest, that way you have allot of time to work the calories off. The potassium and gallbladder effect you'll need to decide about. Now you can make an informed one. For any info on potassium and gallbladder problems you can go to webmd.com . Good luck and God Bless
Question: How bad is the job situations in the following states North and South Carolina? How bad is the job situations up and down the Eastern Seaboard from Florida which I know is bad, to the furthest northern states? I ask because my folks seem to think the jobs are better up in North Carolina... I hear how bad it is here in Florida. How about country wide?
Answer: I live at Myrtle Beach,SC and the job situation here is not good right now. Very few service jobs even. Tourist jobs should begin to open up in the next month or so. Wages are also lower here.
Question: How much does bad alignment affect your fuel economy? My car has pretty bad alignment after I got into an accident - it was hydroplaning and I hit my rear passenger rim. It got bent pretty bad but I had it fixed. But I now have bad alignment, pretty bad alignment actually. How much does that cut from fuel economy?
Answer: Have you ever gotten one of those shopping carts that has one of the casters not pivoting correctly? They're real hard to push compared to the others. There's your answer.
Question: How bad do you think the riot is going to be at the Democrat national convention in Denver? Worse than Tibet, as bad as in 1968 or no worse than the running of the Olympic torch?
And do you think Bush would send in the national guard (whatever is left in the US) to stop it?
Answer: I think that if the super delegates do not support Sen. Obama and vote using the guidelines they have for their position (that they should vote for the candidate with the greatest chance of beating Sen. McCain) there will be strong riots not only in Denver but other major cities as well.
Question: Can bad personal credit affect your chances of getting credit when you start a ltd company in the UK ? I have bad personal credit, however I will be starting a new company soon. Will this bad personal credit history affect my chances of getting say an initial overdraft for my company ?
Answer: Most probably yes unless you have a very good collateral such as a property with enough equity or a guarantee by someone with good credit rating.
Overdraft are normally guaranteed by directors of those companies but as you say you have a bad credit history so your word is not worth the paper it is written on!.
Question: How bad is people food for your dogs? How bad is people food for your dog? I dont plan on giving our new dog a lot of people food. But I do think she would enjoy the occasional chunk of chicken or what not. I know chocolate is bad for them. Any advice would be great.
Answer: It depends on what kind of people food. Obviously, any junk for people is going to be junk for them. (so no chips, cookies, etc). Meat and eggs (cooked or raw eggs) like we eat will be okay (some dogs may have more sensitive stomachs than others, so be careful how much you give them of anything). Fruit and veggies won't hurt them, and dairy should be given in very small (if any) amounts. Plain yogurt with active bacterial cultures and some cheese will probably be okay, but straight milk will probably upset their stomachs. And ice cream has way too much sugar in it for them.
You're right, chocolate is bad for them, as are onions and grapes. They shouldn't have any peppers (green peppers, etc) either, and they shouldn't have too much broccoli, as it can cause gas (haha, it does in people too).
ADD: Too much protein makes them hyper? Give me a break! Dogs are carnivores, therefore they eat pretty much only meat naturally, therefore lots of protein. Processed grains and carbs give will give them sugar highs like people, causing hyperness.
Question: How can a country be bad when millions of its citizens have the time to debate normal climate change? America is bad, America is bad, whine the leftists. So bad that most of them have the time to demand billions be spent to "fix" a statistically insignificant change in global temperature. Also, in America the poor people are fat.
Is America really all that bad?
Answer: If they didn't have something to be 'against', if they didn't have a bumber sticker that started with 'Save the," if they have an issue where they could blame the other side -- they might go insane.
Question: How bad do teeth usually get after a pregnancy? My teeth have gotten really bad in this pregnancy, i heurd that some women's teeth even rot.How bad do teeth usually get after a pregnancy, and is it normal?
Are my teeth problems pregnancy related?
Answer: well, there are a few reasons your teeth tend to go south during pregnancy and after. the chemical composition of many many systems in your body has changed and this includes your saliva. this being said, you're more prone to cavities due to the change in your saliva. your gums also become super super sensitive.
did you know that most dental insurance companies will approve 2-3 extra cleanings while you're pregnant vs one every six months? call your dental insurance and see if yours does.
also, your baby's bones are growing soo rapidly right now and your baby is sapping so much calcium from you as well to build their strong healthy bones. think of it this way, when we break a bone, it takes around 6 weeks for the body to rebuild it. that's just a BREAK! your baby is growing by leaps and bounds week by week which means your body is working over time for 40 weeks to keep up with their growth for an entire skeletal system! that's probably 100 times more work than simply healing a break or fracture.
just make sure to take extra precaution. brush 3 times a day instead of 2, floss frequently, rinse well, and drink plenty of milk (milk is not the only source of calcium btw. look up other sources if you're not a fan of milk like me).
Question: How bad does it hurt when you get your belly button pierced? How bad does it hurt,do they have numbing cream or something? How long does it take to heal?Does it leave a bad scar?Do you think I will regret it if I have it done?
I have 2 piercings in each of my ears,no cartilage.I hope it feels like that because those did not hurt at all.
Answer: I didn't think it hurt very much. You have to be really patient with the healing process and make sure you clean it very well. The more careful you are with it, the quicker it will heal.
It can get infected easily and it will be very sensitive for a while.
I haven't had mine for a couple of years and there is a very light "scar" above my belly button. You can barely tell it's there.
I kind of miss having mine. I've had two kids since then and plan to have more some day so it's not exactly reasonable at this time. I don't really regret having it done. I wish it had healed nicer and wasn't such a pain to take care of.
Question: How bad does a belly button piercing hurt compared to nose? I am definitely getting my belly button pierced, I am just curious how badly it hurts. I have six piercings on my ears (none of which hurt) and my nose pierced. I thought the nose hurt pretty bad, so anyone who has both their belly button and their nose pierced, which one hurt more? I can tolerate pain pretty well, but my nose started bleeding when I got it done, which made it pretty bad lol.
Answer: Nose would probably hurt more because it's cartilege while belly is just skin. Belly doesn't hurt at all in my opinion. It's quick and painless.
goodluck!
Question: How bad do your eyes have to be to not be able to get laser eye surgery? I really want laser eye surgery and I have a few questions.
My eyes are really bad, one is -7 and the other is -9 and those are the numbers for my contact lenses. What's the worst prescription you can have and still get laser eye surgery?
Also, I have floaters on my eyes, is it still possible to get the surgery with floaters on your eyes? (Floaters are little dots that you see in your normal vision for those who don't know)
For those who live in Canada and have gotten it done, how much did you pay for your surgery?
Answer: You would have to have a consultation. It is not just as simple as just measuring your prescription. During laser surgery the surgeon slices a layer off the front of your cornea (in very simple terms) so, the thickness of your cornea is a huge factor.
ie. you could have a very thin cornea but only have a small prescription and be unsuitable for surgery or you could have a higher prescription and be suitable because your cornea is thick.
I feel the answer will be no because your true prescription will be stronger than your contact lens prescription and over a -9 is really pushing it but you'll never know unless you see some surgeons. It is cosmetic surgery so treat it like that, See several surgeons and get several opinions, don't opt for the cheapest, opt for the one with best results and recommendations. There are other types of refractive surgery for example cataract surgery (without actually having a cataract!) so there may be an option for you :)
Question: How bad will the Windies be without Gayle, Sarwan and Chanderpaul? When these 3, probably the last world-class players produced by WI retire or play IPL/ICL instead, how bad will the Windies get? Worse than Bangladesh and Zimbabwe? Should their Test status be revoked if they consistently underperform? Will there ever be adequate replacements for the likes of Lara, Hooper, Richie Richardson and these three?
Answer: Without the threesome - Gayle, Sarwan and Chanderpaul, WI
cricket looks like one of the bottom placed team. They still have
some decent players like Bravo and Samuels - but without the
3 starlets of WI, they will struggle even at home.
These players have already indicated that they will be playing in
IPL games.
The once world dominant WI team is no where closer even to
compete against the top leaders. Money talks specially in WI.
We have seen in the past when WI top cricketer all left the
country to play Kerry Packer series.
