There is a strong precaution for the use of any bee by product for asthmatics or those who suffer from
A seasonal allergy, that is someone who has an allergic reaction to a trigger that is typically only present for part of a year, such as spring or fall.
This type of allergy refers to a pollen allergy, the pollen bees collect from flowers.
Pollens are tiny egg-shaped powdery grains released from flowering plants, which are carried by the wind or insects, and serve to cross-pollinate other plants of the same type for reproductive purposes. When pollen is present in the air, it can land in a person’s eyes, nose, lungs and skin to set up an allergic reaction.
Due to the natural presence of botulinum endospores in honey, children under one year of age should not be given honey. The more developed digestive systems of older children and adults generally destroy the spores. Infants, however, can contract botulism from honey.

Pollens that are spread by the wind are usually the main cause of seasonal allergies, while pollens that rely on insects (such as the honeybee) to be carried to other plants do not. Most plants with bright, vibrant flowers (such as roses) are insect pollinated and do not generally cause seasonal allergies since the pollen is not usually present in the air.
Get TESTED first to be SURE that you are not allergic to more than the bee's sting!!.

Question: What are some possible side effects of bee-killing products to natural ecosystems? Like those translucent yellow/green "traps" that are hung from trees, or perhaps pesticides like Raid.
Thanks so much for the help!!! :)
Answer: Any time a specific species is targeted for death it causes a large domino effect throughout the entire ecosystem. Simply think of the main organisms that utilizes bees, these would be angiosperms (flowering plants) for pollination and thus fertilization. Once the plants are effected all animals that rely on plants for food, air concentraions of O2, etc. are directly affected. Then all organisms that rely on these second level organisms are then affected... and so forth.

Question: Has anyone ever used Bee Luscious products? I went to their website and they have an acne treatment called Medicated Acne Package. Has anyone ever used it? Its very expensive for acne treatment, and I don't want to waste money on something that doesn't work.
Answer: The acne package by bee luscious is really not expensive because it lasts for like a good 8-9 months and IT WORKS!
Now when I bought it they asked me a thousand questions because whats really awesome about Bee Luscious is the customer service and how they care to make sure you get the right products for a successful outcome. My problem was adult acne they told me that once the acne was cured I would go to a normal routine and they suggested the papaya enzyme line, well I started on the acne package and OMG it was a total miracle worker for me,once it attacked the acne I did start to notice my skin drying out a bit which they told me it would;d but this was well into my 6th month, my skin was totally cleared up and beautiful, once my skin started to feel dry I switched to the papaya enzyme line along with the hydrating cream concentrate and again TOTAL SUCCESS!
Now when I get a flare up I use the rest of m acne products for a few days then go back to my papaya. Bee Luscious and the ladies that work there have been my saving grace!
And all their makeup I will add now for you is THE TOTAL BOMB!!! everything I have ever bought is the total best!
Good Luck and I totally recommend it!

Question: Do the Burt's Bee Baby Bees products work well for baby? ? My half brother is due in February and I have already started to get him soem essentials aka clothes, spoons, bibs, and since he will be a winter baby was wondering how all the Burt's Bees stuff works. I use the regular Burt's Bess stuffit constantly and LOVE it but didn't know about the baby products. I don't want him to break out :(
never heard of California baby. Where can I buy it?
Answer: I love them! Also California Baby products.
Whole Foods has CB products, a lot of other whole/health food stores carry them, diapers.com carries them. I've even heard some Target stores carry them now.
Question: have u tried burts bees baby bee products? i read that johnson & johnson products really aren't that good on babies skin so I am looking for a different baby care line of products. how is the Burt's bee baby bee stuff??
Answer: I've used Burt's Bees products for about 7 years with my last three children. My newborn is almost two weeks old and I use the Diaper Ointment on her every time I change her diaper. This has been great at keeping her skin dry, easy to clean off during changes and smells terrific! I also rub her down with the Apricot Baby Oil everyday especially after a bath or if I clean her off with a wet washcloth. When visiting India years ago I stayed at an orphanage where the would oil the babies down daily for the health of their muscles and skin. I found that all my little ones loved the daily massage and using Burt's Bees Apricot Baby Oil made the experience even better. It not only smells wonderful but gives me the piece of mind that I'm using a 98.04% all natural product by a company that is helping the Earth.
Question: would anyone recommend using the bee royal products for acne? please tell me if its worth trying

Question: vegans... about bee products...? what do you think about use of bee products for vegans? I'm a vegetarian trying to become vegan.. what do you think... can vegans have bee products? or is it an un-vegan like thing to do... i've gotted mixed answers, so i would love your opinion on this one..
Answer: No honey, honey! A kosher friend of mine said that honey is not passed through the bee and then discharged, (regurgitated, expelled). He said that the bee "handles" the honey and doesn't digest it. It is against Kosher law to eat insects or their by-products. I have a hard time believing this. In my perspective, the bee indeed puts the nectar in its body, and then exudes it in the form of honey. The following is from Vegetarian Journal: "they make honey from the nectar of flowers for an energy source. Bees reduce the water content of the nectar both by fanning it with their wings and by manipulating the liquid in their mouths. Bees create honey through the use of their digestive enzyme, invertase. This enzyme converts the sucrose of the gathered nectar into equal parts of the sugars glucose and fructose in the bee's honey stomach.(1)". Also, from Galaxy Magazine, "The forager bees (little buzzers that fly around sucking up nectar from flowers and such) gather the raw material. These guys forage for nectar, gather and bring it back to the hive. Since they don't have handy-dandy little buckets (like in cartoons) the bees suck the honey down using a convenient organ located just posterior to the mouth affectionately called the sucking pump. From here the nectar is shuttled down the oesophagus into a thin-walled sac (corresponding to the crop of other insects) called the honey stomach -- so called because it is used to carry nectar or honey. Separating the honey stomach and the ventriculus (the real stomach) is a small sphincter like opening called the stomach mouth. The stomach mouth prevents the nectar from passing from the honey stomach into the further reaches of the honey bees' digestive system. It is here in the honey stomach that the nectar is stored during the long flight from flower to hive." In Galaxy Magazine there are natural alternatives to honey. So, take it from a long-time vegan, no honey, sweetie!
