Question: Can anyone tell me where I can find a list of foods and what vitamins/benefits they contain? I'm looking for things like fruits and veggies, honey, eggs etc
I'm trying to find a list of how i can incorporate then into natural face masks and scrubs and what things like cucumber, strawberries, oatmeal etc do for the skin.

Other medicinal benefits attributed to wasabi include its effectiveness against diarrhea, blood clots, inflammation, and asthma. Its pungent aroma may help relieve sinusitis and bronchitis. Although the amounts absorbed from culinary use may be negligible, wasabi reportedly also contains potassium, calcium, and vitamin C.
Industrial applications of wasabi under investigation include its usefulness in the development of other antibiotics, due to its own antibiotic qualities; its effectiveness as a fungicide against the blackleg fungus that threatens plants commercially valued for their oil, such as rape-seed and canola; and its possible use as an effective alternative to chemically toxic wood preservatives.

Answer: Yes, but I always advise that you leave 1 hour between when you take a drug and when you take a supplement.
If they take the same metabolic pathway, one or the other might not be metabolized (just so much available enzyme) and one won't be used.
So to be on the safe side, leave 1 hour between the two.

Many people here have mentioned calcium. While it's true that there are 350 milligrams of calcium in cow's milk, by the time it is processed only 10% of that is bioavailable. That's less calcium than you get from a handful of almonds.
Since milk is rendered uselss by processing a lot of people have turned to raw milk. Which is still difficult for our bodies to make use of. We are not designed to drink any milk other than our mothers. And certainly not meant to drink it after we are 8 years old.
At least whole milk counts as a protein. 1 & 2% milk is pure carcinogen. Useless toxin in the body.
Speaking of protein. Someone touted the protein in milk. Again, the milk protein is the milk fat. Once the fat is removed, there is no protein.

Answer: It depends on if you have a deficiency or not. Most people don't get enough of the basic vitamins and minerals that are required for daily health. That is reflected most in the high number of bone problems from those who don't absorb enough Calcium throughout the day, but there are many other examples that are very common. Many doctors are now recommending a multivitamin to at least cover the deficiencies in diet, so that helps to speak volumes as well.
Yes, some of it will be excreted, but that's a good way to know that you're getting enough... the only thing that will be excreted is whatever your body can't absorb, same as what happens with the food you eat.
I would assume the multi is a minimal cost per month, so it's up to you if it's worth the few dollars to make sure you get enough of the basic nutrients you need every day ;-)
