Question: Is there a good way to boost your memory abilities.? are there ways to improve your memory via medicine or actions like practicing something.
Answer: Yes, practicing helps a lot. Memorise poems. If will be very hard at first. Like you'll have to read it 100 times and it still doesn't stick. But our brains are very good at learning to make things efficient. Eventually, 3 times will be enough to memorise a page-long poem. It's sort of like "teaching" your brain that it has to absorb it. Recite them later, too. This will "teach" your brain that it has to hold it or else you'll do it all over agian.

Answer: There are lots of ways of doing this. For example, try thinking in a different way, or flex your brain by trying to recall details you haven't thought of for years.
“The secret of a good memory is attention, and attention to subject depends upon our interest in it. We rarely forget that which has made a deep impression on our minds.”
(Try this Princess >>>> Ways to Boost your memory )
>> One should pay attention to what is happening. Full concentration is required and minute details should be recorded in the mind. It is easy to recall.
>> Review what you have to recall. Review should be done at regular periods. A student sitting for an examination prefers to review what he or she has just read. It is easy to remember
>> Many people benefit greatly from visualizing the information they study. Pay attention to the photographs, charts, and other graphics in your textbooks. If you don’t have visual cues to help, try creating your own. Draw charts or figures in the margins of your notes or use highlighters or pens in different colors to group related ideas in your written study materials.
>> reading materials out loud significantly improves memory
>> Create mental images- one should visualize a place or event or person
>> Words can also make you remember things
>> Imagination can help improve your memory power. Imagine what a person will be doing at a particular time. By imagining his or activities you might be able to recall his or profession
“Forget those things that aren’t worth remembering.”
Wish you all the best Princess and hope it helps you a bit xoxo
Wishing you sunshine, love and laughter. Not just today, but all the days after

Question: How do you boost or help your memory to get better? I used to have a really really sharp memory that'd remember every little detail to the big picture of each event, conversation, day, I was in. From the color of their shirt, to what time of the day to every single thing they said, the details of the room. Now a long time ago some trauma happened and I'm healed now. My memory is horrible now. I miss my sharp memory. Is there any way to go back to having a sharp memory? By the way it wasn't a physical trauma to the head or something.

Question: What Activites Can You Do To Boost Your Memory?
Answer: Get more sleep. Practice believe it or not can also help. Things like Puzzle games, Computer games like Big Brain Academy, card games like memory.
Question: How to boost your memory?
Answer: It's important to remember the pressing things in life, as well as the beautiful moments of the past. Here are a few simple methods which you can use to improve your memory.
1. Put black ink at the end of your palm to remember any important thing for the next day or for that day itself. Whenever you see the black dot, you'll remember what to do.
2. Visualize whatever you have to do as part of something you see every day. For example, if you have to give your dog some medicine, visualize your dog in your fridge every time you walk past it or look inside. This will keep your dog fresh in your mind.
3. Write the event or task down immedietely. If you don't have a pen, one thing you can do is change the time on your watch; later on you will remember why it is set at the wrong time.
4. Write in a diary or journal every day without fail. Even small issues should be written down -- this is a good way to make sure you don't miss anything.
5. Leave yourself a telephone message reminding yourself of important "to do" tasks.

Answer: I've read that the herb ginkgo is good for memory and may help for test taking. Not sure what the source was, but I did read about people taking it before tests and having some good results.
If you have some handy, maybe take some good doses while studying and before the exam. It's relatively safe.
Ginkgo also thins the blood, so is not recommended if anyone is taking blood thinner meds.
I'm including one source that may be interesting to you.
Question: How to boost your long-term memory? I am quite good at remembering things and keeping them in my memory for about one month, but once one month is over the memorized things start disappearing, so I have to repeat them again. Is there any way to retain them in my long-term memory, so that I can retrieve them easily two or five months later?
Answer: Hi, well yes there are several techniques. Independent, the reason why you forget is because of meaning. The material has been learned however there is no emotional or meaningfull value conected to it that reinforece learning and enhance recall.
For example the mere mention of your name, anywhere at anytime, makes you react almost instinctively by paying inmediate attention ergo a name -linguistic sign- because it is related to you, in this example, has a special meaning for you, making then that a mere common set of phonetic signs are absolutely ingraved in your memory.
Consequently, when I learn and/or teach, I try to connect the material I need to remember in some way with me or with the learner, things that are important for thge learner or me or both etc. Much in the same way that you might learn a large set of random numbers and letters, like in a long password, by connecting each number or letters making set by puting several together, with a marker i.e. something that helps your recall. The marker could be could be e.g. connectiong four numbers with some loved oneäs birthdate and so on.
This is technique I use is based upon one of the different theories on memory written that stresses the relevance of meaning upon learning, memory and recall. So you can either start practicing thisor visit the sites below which will provide you with different theoretical explanations of what is memory, how it works, and almost everything including links to sites for memory improvement etc. There are even *.exe files or small programs designed to enhance memory, probably both short term and long term if for one moment we consider them really as different processes and cerebral loci etc:
Double clicking the links below will take you to a site for everything about learning, specially about memory in a very summarized and clear way and second to sites for memory enhancement:
This one to learning theories, Some are related and based upon the concept of memory.:
http://home.sprynet.com/~gkearsley/tip/theories.html
Next you can go to the concepts page and there you can see and select memory wich will explain very well, briefly and clear:
http://home.sprynet.com/~gkearsley/tip/concepts.html
This dirrectly to memory, also has related links within the text on the page:
http://home.sprynet.com/~gkearsley/tip/memory.html
Finnaly the last link takes you to an altavista page where you will see many sites related to memory enhancement techniques, programs, medicines... etc. Just doubleclik the link.

Question: does Ginkgo Biloba really help boost your memory?
Answer: Yes, I took it after an SSRI totally messed my short term memory and cognitive functioning up. I noticed a difference after about 3 weeks. It doesn't have a remarkable effect, but it is noticeable. You can also boost your memory by doing those little brain training games on a DS Lite or by doing some studying. The brain is like a muscle and works better the more its used.
