Answer: Actually, ionic colloidal silver solutions are not in the least bit inferior to "particle" (i.e., particulate) colloidal silver soutions. Unfortunately, the myth that the particulate form of colloidal silver is somehow superior to the ionic form has been perpetrated by some individuals on the internet who have a financial self-interest in selling an expensive bottled commercial particulate-based colloidal silver product. The reality is that the ionic form of colloidal silver is the form used in hundreds of clinical studies carried out since the early 1900's. Even Dr. Robert O. Becker's ground-breaking research into the effectiveness of electrically generated silver ions, conducted at Syracuse Medical University during the 1970's and 1980's, attributed the astonishing infection-fighting power of silver to the silver ion, i.e., the ionic form. Answer: Forget it. It has zero beneficial effects and is highly toxic over time. There is a reason why it is illegal to market it as a treatment for anything in the USA and other countries. It is not natural to ingest heavy metals like this and you do not have a silver deficiency.

Answer: Colloidal silver refers to silver metal in colloidal suspension form. You should be aware that silver is toxic. You really should not be consuming any form of silver. There is no such thing as "ionic colloidal silver". Silver ions, Ag+, have lost one electron and would only exist in solution as hydrated ions.

Answer: The man who turned blue was an EXTREMELY RARE CASE, and judicious use of a reputable brand of colloidal silver could prove quite useful in the treatment and prevention of colds and minor infections. First, the blue guy was making his own colloidal silver at home. The silver particle sizes were very different from commercially available CS. Second, he was taking INSANE amounts on a regular basis. Answer: I buy a brand called Natural Path Silver Wings. It is 500 ppm colloidal silver and it is quite brown. I get it at my local health food store. It has a faint metallic smell but not musty. It comes in a GLASS amber bottle and isn't very expensive. I however have not needed to do it As far as the turning blue thing goes; that's basically propoganda from the medical establishment to protect their market. I think about 6 people total have had that happen to them, and all of them used a lot of it daily for years, and most important used a bad grade home made version (whereas with properly made CS the particles are too small to store in the skin). Answer: Well, anything with silver in it helps to fight infections. The use it alot with burn victims, and also in some medical supplies to help prevent infections. It's a good thing to have and use. I was burned when I was 3 years old and used some topical cream, (Silvadene) and the doctors said it helped with my scarring and I don't remember having an infection.... wasn't the silver that turned skin blue, that's cyanide....
