Question: How do you cure cancer, what can you do? I know there isn't a cure for it yet, but are there certain foods that help decrease the chance of developing the deadly disease? What are the chance of survival if you are diagnosed with cancer? What are the early symptoms of cancer?

Answer: There are so many types of cancer and many that do have cures for them... best thing is to live well drink lots of water don't smoke and stay proactive in your own health. I have non Hodgkin's lymphoma and 7 years after my diagnosis they found a cure for it... anything is possible

Question: why do people donate money to cure cancer? My aunt died on February 21st of this year from cancer. Millions of people donate to cancer and have been for years and years. Why havent they found a cure yet. My aunt was the least deserving of anyone to die. Why do we keep donating money if theyre slacking and cant find a for sure cure for cancer? Kemotherapy and radiation obviously doesn't work or she'd be here right now.

Answer: They aren't slacking. It's that curing cancer is tough and very very difficult. Do you think that they'd do a better job at creating cures if they didn't have any money at all?

Question: Why is it that Radiation is supposed to cause Cancer but the cure is Radition? I understand that even cell phones can give off enough radiation to give you a brain tumor and a tv can also radiate you if watched too close. I t does not make sense that radiation can cure cancer but this seems to be the standard cure for most cancers.Please explain the differences between getting cancer and curing cancer using the same medium.

Answer: Radiation kills cancerous cells. Unfortunately it also alters healthy cells which can cause cancer to form in the future. If you have cancer and you know your only chance for survival in the short term is to have radiation treatments, most people will chose radiation even though it is known that it might cause another cancer to form in the future (or it might not). Most people will take the chance. If people have a recurrence of cancer in the future they won't know if it was the original cancer that spread and grew again, or if it was caused by radiation. The bottom line is that most people will chose to "buy time" by having radiation. Cell phones have never been proven to produce brain tumors.

Question: Is it possible to use purified water or salt acids to cure cancer? As I heard, purified water can make body cells pop when injected to the body. Salt acids has an opposite effect which is to make body cells dehydrate and shrink when injected. So my question is, can we use these effects of salt acids and purified water on cells against cancerous cells? Or even cure cancer with it?

Answer: No, purified water can not be used in a way to cure cancer similar to chemotherapy, because it can not be implemented into the human body with similar precision. Yes, injecting such materials into the body will kill cells, and when injected at exactly the right spot it will kill some cancer cells, but unlike chemotherapy, it's not possible to monitor the areas targeted very well, which would mean healthy internal organs could take heavy damage aswell. So although both fluids can be used to wreak havoc upon ones' body cells, to cure cancer there are a lot of better solutions.

Question: Is immunotherapy the way to cure cancer? Wake Forest researchers since 1999 have breed a group of mice called SR/CR that are totally resistant to all cancers tested so far in them. In turn, the white blood cells of these mice were able to cure cancer in other mice simply by infusion of these cells into the mice with cancer. This is called innate immunity. Now, researchers at Wake forest, Dr Cui have discovered cancer immune humans. This fall they want to transfer the white blood cells of these cancer immune humans into cancer patients to see if their cancers can be cured (just like in the mice). If this works it will be a major breakthrough and a very simply way to cure cancer. Will it work?

Answer: The tumor could be benign or malignant. A benign tumor does not spread to other parts of the body, while the malignant tumor would easily metastasize to other places. Conventional cancer treatment of surgery removes the tumor from the organ where it had formed. Then radiation is done to cleanse the organ of any remaining cancer cells. If necessary, these are followed up with hormonal therapy, chemotherapy, or both. In certain cases, immunotherapy is also chosen.

Question: How to cure secondary level bone cancer for a 68 years old patient? My mom suffers from Secondary level bone cancer. She was having pain in the beginning say for about 2 months. We left it as it is bcoz of her age factor generally pain comes. But now on investigation we found it is cancer. We are not able to find out the primary level. Any medicines that can cure cancer? Now if she gets pain we give proxyvan and omez. She also consumes Amilodipin for BP. She has been given Radiation for only 7 days and doctors informed that is the final treatment that they can offer. Answer: Has she had a PET scan to try and find the primary cancer? If she has bone cancer that has spread from an unknown primary cancer then this is not a good situation. She has been given the radiation for palliative pain control in her bones and not as a curative treatment. Make sure her pain is treated properly as it will probably increase over time. Perhaps it is time to contact hospice or make other preparations to take care of your mother. Question: Has anyone heard anything about a weevil that people eat alive that is known to help cure cancer? I have heard they do it in Peru. They eat these small weevils and it has been known to cure cases of cancer and a couple other things. Answer: Hello... A friend of mine died recently, Neil was in his late sixties and was an identical twin. His twin brother, David was extremely concerned that the same fate awaited him but need not have worried as lifestyle factors are the main cause cancer, not genetics. Neil's cancer started in the prostate then shifted to his lungs, he was a smoker most of his life but gave up 15 years ago. Neil's sister said he should have done something about it when he was first diagnosed and not just relied on our mainstream treatments of surgery, radiation and chemotherapy to cure him. She was right as those treatments today only shrink cancer and there is nothing in those 3 treatments that will stop it spreading or returning. People today are faced with so many distorted facts about cancer and too many just accept what's on offer. So where do we find the information to be able to cure ourselves of the disease? No sense asking doctors as they don't know as they only know the treatments they've been taught and no other ways. It's a sad fact that the treatments used by our modern medical system these days are in place because they generate profits, not because they cure. There are much better ways to deal with cancer and that is to search for the reasons why the cancer arrived in the first place and remove those reasons. That will allow the body to heal and will safely remove the cancer and also stop it from returning or spreading. The causes of cancer are all well known, it's only man and animals he controls that get cancer. Animals in the wild don't get cancer, nor do people living in primitive societies. Look at our diet; it has changed vastly now days with most of our food having been processed. People in western societies where cancer is a huge problem have been described as over fed and under nourished. Unfortunately the people who have control over the cancer industry are taking advantage of us because of our ignorance. Remove the chemicals we surround ourselves with, many of them are in personal care products and these toxic chemicals find their way into our bloodstream as they are absorbed through the skin. By using common sense and making changes to the way you live you can become a survivor. Even though we may find it difficult to make these necessary changes, there are no other ways. Answer: Look into the national cancer foundation of your country. For the US it is www.cancer.org. If you know someone who has been diagnosed with cancer, you may want to look at donating to a foundation specifically for that particular type of cancer. A great example is the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society www.leukemia-lymphoma.org. Finally, it may be worthwhile to spread some of it around to maybe a place for advocacy for young adults like www.imtooyoungforthis.org, a camp for patients, survivors, siblings etc such as Camp Mak-A-Dream www.campdream.org, a wish foundation such as the Children's Wish Foundation www.childrenswish.org, or various other options. I definitely commend you for wanting to donate to help cure and treat cancer. The best way to choose, especially if you are planning on donating a substancial sum of money, is to do your research and become passionate about the charity/research facility you are donating to. Answer: I answered this question few days ago. here is the copy and paste of my answer: Such drug is named as "Ipilimumab" known as "MDX-010" which is intended to activate the immune system. It is said that such drug sustains an active immune response in its attack on cancer cells. So it indeed sounds to have a promising role in cancer. Whether it is effective or not for cancer is yet to be proven. For the meantime, there are two advanced clinical trials on that matter.Clinical trials are currently on going for its use as the treatment of melanoma. So, hang on in there until we will hear the results of the trials..... ( PS. I haven't watched such news but if the drug is under the Mederex company, then I suppose that is the one. The drug is newly released so it is still a "hot" media topic.)

And it appears that a cure would in the form of a treatment "tailored to the individual's genetic makeup." So, in effect, curing a single cancer patient could be very expensive. But if we continue to cure cancer patients, then the cancer rate in society will go up, because when cancer survivors procreate with non-cancer individuals, the offspring produced are genetically predisposed to getting cancer. So, at some point in time, almost everyone in society could develop cancer at some point in their life. And having to cure everyone would be impractical because of the huge financial impact it would have on society. So if this was how cancer is cured, then should we ban it?

Answer: To me this sounds like another parlour game played by people who've never had or been close to cancer - similar to the 'Is there a conspiracy to hide a cure?' game. You have some very strange and uninformed notions about cancer and genetics.
