Question: I am in the mood for a delicious snack.? In my fridge i have a jar of lime marmalade jam. What can i use marlalade made from the delicious citrus fruit "lime" with to make a tasty snack? Cookies? eewwwwww Im going to use it with some chopped cashews and stuff to mae a delicious ham glaze for dinner

Question: How can I turn a healthy cereal into a delicious snack? I bought this Kashi cereal which is really healthy but doesn't taste very good. Do you know any good recipes to make a healthy cereal into a good snack or just a good cereal? I have tried putting fruit in it and its still not very good.

(My fav is Cranberry Almond) Make some yummy smoothies, you can get good recipes offline. Yoplait Light is good too, many flavors. All are tasty :) Quaker Oats rice cakes are good.. Apple Cinnamon being my favorite!

Question: What is a delicious snack that you can make with basic laying-around-the-house food? Something that doesn't require too much, but your basic food (i.e. nothing that woudl require an extra run out to the grocery store to get)

Answer: Don't know what you usually keep on hand, but I can make any of these at a moment's notice! ** Cheese Straws ** 4 oz. butter, softened (1 stick) 10 oz. sharp grated cheddar cheese (a sharp white is good too) 1/2 tsp Worcestershire sauce Nice dash of Tabasco (or use pinch cayenne) 1 cup sifted all-purpose flour Preheat oven to 375ºF. Cream butter. Mix in the cheese, Worcestershire, and Tabasco, and stir to blend. Slowly stir in flour until completely blended. Turn onto a lightly floured work surface and shape dough into a roll. Cover in plastic wrap and chill for several hours. When chilled, slice dough in four pieces lengthwise. Roll each piece until it is as thin as a drinking straw. If they get too long, cut them in half. Slice into straw lengths (or whatever length you like for your event) and place on a lightly greased cookie sheet. Bake in PREHEATED oven for 10 - 15 minutes, or until golden brown and semi-crisp.Remember they will cook a bit in the pan after taking them from the oven. Question: What can I add to canned tuna-fish to make it a delicious snack? I'm about to start a weight-gain diet, and I'm told that one great in between snack is eating tuna right out of the can daily. However, I'm not all that crazy about tuna.....unless someone can recommend other stuff to add to the tuna for example Italian salad dressing. Any other suggestions? Question: How to cook a quick delicious snack in less than an half hour?? I'm just turn thirteen so lets just say i'm not the best cook. But my friend is coming over, dad is looking after us so no cooking that day. i need a quick easy meal to make ta doesn't hav a high price to it. Any help here?

Answer: Boil some rice in a lot of boiling water, steam some veggies over the top for 15 minutes. Drain the rice, mix in the veggies and plate up. Top with a soft poached egg, and a bottle of you favourite soy etc. Cooking time 15-20 minutes+ prep time.

Answer: 2 large cans chicken breast 1 packet Hidden Valley Ranch Dip Mix 2 blocks of cream cheese Open and drain chicken. Stir in 2 blocks of cream cheese and ranch dip mix to taste (i usually use 1/2 pack or a little more). Keep cold and serve with Wheat Thins. Very good and easy snack.

Answer: With an inexpensive (about 40 bucks) food dehydrator........cut up the fruit, put it on the trays and it takes about 3 days to dehydrate........

Question: Many years ago my Canadian friend brought back this delicious maple snack what is it called? The snack was in a tub like the type used for sour cream. It was very thick maple syrup (I think), she would stick popsicle sticks into the tub and it was thick and consistent enough to not get all over the place. What in the world is this stuff called?

Answer: Pretty sure what it was is called Maple Cream also called Maple Butter. It can be made or purchased. Takes a bit of time and a candy thermometer.
