Energy Drinks For Calorie
Question: Can someone give me a list of high calorie energy drinks? Try to shoot for 1000 calories in the least amount of cans.
Answer: Most regular energy drinks have 110 to 140 calories per serving. 1,000 calories is unrealistic in just 1 or 2 cans and would take a lot to get there. By then you would have overdosed on caffeine and also severe dehydration from the caffeine giving you headaches and muscle/body aches and pains too. So why bother?
It would actually be safer to drink sodas to reach 1,000 calories as they have less caffeine.
Question: What is better for you? Low calorie/carb energy drinks or coffee? I would assume coffee is healthier because its natural
Answer: Neither of those things is particularly healthy. Energy drinks should only be used by people when participating in a high level of sports or possibly high impact exercise... although I don't agree with it's use even for that purpose. Any product high in caffeine is not heart healthy. I do have my coffee in the mornings, but, sorry to say, I can't justify saying either one of those products is "better for you".
Question: what's a good tasting low calorie energy drink? Lately, I feel like i have no energy. I'm drinking water thoughout the day. Eating the regular foods i used to. I've gained about 10 pounds in the past 2 years, which is not that much i think for two year span. I get on average 7-8 hours of sleep per day. I've tried Red Bull, and other evergy drinks but they are no good, and taste like they are loaded with sugar. Is there some other kind of drink that will wake me up, give me more energy, but not add anymore pounds. Or is there a fruit that gives a boost of energy? Thanks in advanced.
Answer: look into Yerba Mate, it is an herbal tea from South America. I drink it everyday now. Before i was always tired all the time and now i have energy all day. but be careful, if i drink it after 12:30 i will not sleep that night. It gives you energy with out side effects like nervousness. Check it out, i love it! Also, i have been losing weight with it because of all the natural good things it has. Here is a website that i use:
www.goyerbamate.com
Question: Boost energy drinks, drinking to much? Alright i drink boost energy drinks throughout the day to get in some calories, but i was wondering can drinking 3 of these a day be unhealthy? I drink them for good calories, and to reach my calorie goal for the day as i workout.
THESE ARE NOT UR TYPICAL ENERGY DRINKS! they are nutritional energy drinks. they have vitamins and other stuff not caffiene
Answer: It is too many stimulants period. The creator of healthy energy drinks, XS Energy, which is the 2nd largest selling behind Red Bull, makes the same recommendations as regular energy drink companies. No more than 2 a day. It is because of the total overall stimulants not just because of caffeine. XS does have some caffeine free ones too and they have the same recommendation because of total overall stimulants. And if your Boost were really healthy ones they would not have enough calories in them for you to reach specific goals you are shooting for so I really do not know what you are attempting.
Question: Is there an energy drink that does not have carbination? I had stomach surgery and I can't have carbination. I love to stop at Dunkin Donuts in the am's for a big iced coffee with lots of cream and suger. I am not losing weight though, so I need to stop drinking those 1200 calorie drinks in the am. I love red bull, but now that I can't have carbination, what will give me a wake up kick in the morning? Please help!

Question: does consuming cold products burn more calories. what are energy drinks? im just wondering if you eat or drink cold products will your body burn more calories. if so how many?
is G2 a calorie burner?
any info on any energy drinks are appreciated.
thanks for any info provided on these subjects!!!!!!
Answer: No, cold products don't burn more calories. Chillies (as in the really hot ones) do - they speed up your metabolism. Energy drinks usually contain a lot of protein and good carbs to build muscle and caffeine to give you a high. They're more for fitness freaks than normal people who want to loose weight. Water, protein and calcuim speeds up your metabolism and I've idea what G2 is. Green tea extracts is meant to burn calories.
Question: what is better for you diet soda or energy drink with calories? Just wanted to know what it is better when ur not working out?
Answer: Both are bad. Artificial sweeteners actually cause people to retain calories. Energy drinks contain excessive amounts of caffeine that can stunt growth and become addictive. These also contain a lot of sugar and stimulants that give you a hangover effect. Both will cause weight gain and bad health in the long run. I would not drink these drinks.
I would drink natural unsweetened fruit juice if I were you or just plain water.
Question: Looking for 8-21-7 yahoo news about calories in Energy drinks, coffee etc.?

I try water, but can't drink that much of it, its boring! Want some flavor! Anybody else use these drinks to suppress appetite?
Answer: i use monster assault sometimes, but mainly i drink calorie-free green tea bags in my water, those actually suppress apetite, and taste all right!
Question: What are some good ways to gain energy? Sometimes its hard to go workout when I don't feel like doing it. I don't have the energy, are there any ways to gain energy without adding a bunch of calories for energy drinks?
Answer: XS Energy Drink contains no sugar and no carbs and there are even some caffeine-free flavors available. The energy comes from B vitamins, herbs and amino acids.
Unlike other popular energy drinks, the flavor is really good and it comes in more than one flavor. Sometimes coffee upsets my stomach but this never does.

Question: monster energy drinks bad for your health? Where is the proof? I want to read an article of this because I don't believe it. my mom hides the energy drinks from me because she doesnt want me being addicted. well its too late. I crave them, drink one a day...but I drink the low carb / 10 calorie ones...whats wrong with that...I mean yeah it has cafene but why can coffee drinkers get away with drinking coffee every morning and not have people say its bad....Monster has stuff like l-carnitine (which I used to take for energy as a supplement) which is a fat burner and metabolism increaser...and guarine and taurana...vitamins and minerals the body needs. so why is this bad?
Answer: The reason they are bad for you is the amount of sugar and caffeine contained in them.
If you are concerned about your health (obviously your mom is), then you and your mom should consider an alternative energy drink.
I drink an energy drink that does not contain all of the sugar and caffeine. It works in 10-15 minutes after I drink it, it lasts for several hours, and is much less expensive than those other energy drinks.
You can find them at www.carlshealthhelp.com/energy.
The website also has a picture of the sugar that is in the most popular energy drinks. You may be surprised when you see that!
You may also start thanking your mom!
Question: Are energy drinks bad for you? I have been addicted to energy drinks for several months now chugging back two red bulls a day. Recently my girlfriend has become very pissed at me because it will eventually make me have a 'heart attack or give me a stroke'.. I was wondering if energy drinks are worse for you than any other drink.. Coke has lots of calories and caffeine. Coffee has tons of caffeine. Please provide reliable links (wiki discouraged).
Thanks
Answer: Dude....energy drinks have been around, what, 10 years tops? Nobody knows the detrimental effects of them yet...give it another 10 years. But i hate them. They are nasty and screw up my sleep schedule.
Personally, I drink coffee and tea. I mean, they have been around for centuries and nobody tries to knock them.
Question: Energy drinks for babies? My 11 month old son is under weight. I go regularly to the Pediatrician and she tells me to just keep doing what I`m doing and that while he is a little guy its not time to panick yet. The other night my husband was watching me give a bath and he couldn`t get over how skinny our baby is. He went out last night and bought chocolate energy drinks - loaded with calories. I told him no way! I don`t want my baby filling up on chocolate milk - do they have all the other nutrients he needs? I`m determined my baby is going to gain weight and gain the old fashion way - eating real food.
He still thinks I`m wrong, am I?
my baby has always been off the charts and yes he is under weight. I have no intention of giving him those drinks, we don`t even drink them, I`m sticking with meat, veggies and formula
Answer: LMAO
Giving an energy drink to an 11 month old doesnt sound like a very good idea. Unless you want him to be up for 24 hours straight.
As long as he isnt losing weight he is fine.
My daughter is 10.5 months and 17 pounds, which is the 5% for her age, according to her DR. Im not worried and neither should you be.
I would have a SERIOUS talk with your hubby. Besides, doesnt it say on the can "not intended for small children or people sensitive to caffeine" ?
Question: What Exactly Is Wrong With Energy Drinks? I love energy drinks. I don't drink them for energy, but for flavor. Can anybody tell me what exactly is wrong with them? I mean they got calories and sugar, but that ain't that bad for you.
Answer: Many energy drinks are loaded with caffeine, sugar and herbal stimulants that can make you alert, but can also make your heart beat markedly faster, putting you at risk of health problems.
Caffeine, the main ingredient in energy drinks, isn't directly toxic to the heart. But if you have almost any type of underlying heart disease, even a small amount of caffeine can stimulate the heart and cause problems. Caffeine can increase your blood pressure, and sometimes impair blood flow to your heart. It may trigger abnormal heart rhythms, which can be life-threatening in people at high risk.
One problem with energy drinks is that they have become popular as mixers for alcoholic beverages, often in an effort to counteract drowsiness so that you can drink more alcohol. The combination of large amounts of caffeine and alcohol is especially dangerous, since alcohol by itself is known to trigger fast heart rhythms. To avoid this serious health risk — even if you don't have heart disease — you shouldn't combine alcohol with energy drinks.
Another problem is that energy drinks are often consumed quickly, sometimes before exercise. The high amounts of caffeine and sugar can lead to a variety of symptoms, including irritability, nervousness and nausea, sometimes severe enough to require hospitalization.
For athletic activity, it's healthier to drink noncaffeinated, low-sugar beverages to prevent dehydration. If you decide to consume an energy drink, read the label and research how much caffeine it contains. If you have heart disease, be cautious about energy drinks and talk to your doctor for individual recommendations.
