Question: If you eat fruits only in the morning you could damage your pancreas because of Glucemic index? I red in a book to eat only fruits in the morning but I don`t know if you could damage your pancreas because of Glucemic index and to cause diabetes ..... Thanks !!
Answer: no but your body needs more to sustain it through the morning yes fruits can help you jump start your day and is longer lasting than processed sugars( donuts) and better for your digestive tract, but it should be coupled with a complex carbohydrate( such as oatmeal) so that you will have lasting energy. the simple sugars are just a lot of empty calories the complex sugars such as fruits have enzymes that help break down the complex carbs which will work with the natural digestive system in you body. this is what is known as the recycling or which is the same concept of what the B complex vitamins will do.
