Question: What is a good juicer to use for making pomegranate juice? I have bought and used various juicers, but they cannot effectively get all the juice from the seeds. I'm wondering if anyone can refer to me a heavy duty and commericial juicer which should be able to do this...Thanks :)
Answer: Pomegranates are VERY easy to juice. Any citrus juicer (like for orange or grapefruit juicing) will work very well. Just cut them in half and go.
They put out a ton of juice, too.
Question: What's the best juicer to buy that offers the easiest clean up? Every juicer I've seen from the Juiceman and so on have several really hard to clean parts. Are there any juicers out there that do a great job and don't take forever to clean?
Answer: I have the Jack la lane juicer, its very easy to clean and you can use the pulp for recipes...carrots for carrot cake makes it really moist.
Question: Whats a good juicer to have when starting a juice diet? I like the montell williams juicer but its too expensive for my pockets right now. Do anyone know of a juicer/blender that blend raw veggies and fruits like the montell williams juicer, and where i can get one?
Answer: Juiceman Power Juicer. Not bad. Got mine at a garage sale. It works great.
Question: What is the best juicer (juice extractor) for the price? I'm looking for an innexpensive, small, easy to clean juicer. I'm willing to cave on the "easy to clean" as long as it doesn't distroy my kitchen in the process of making one cup of juice. I want tto use it for juicing fruits and vegitables. I don't really like pulp so a juicer that puts as little pulp in the juice as possible is best. If you have found a good juicer that didn't break the bank (I would have to say the max I am willing to spend is about $100 to $125), I would really appreciate your opinion.
Answer: hello
hey, i guess that there is no easy to clean juice extractor , i'm also looking and trying many brands and still can't get satisfied...because we need a juice extractor that is strong and last long can use for all type of fruits including carrots ...if you are talking about a budget of 100 to 150 even in USA dollars i guess u can't get a good one...
if by chance you find one , please let me know i'll purchase one as well
thank you

Question: How do I juice parsley in a juicer? Ok, maybe my juicer just sucks, but I can't juice parsley. A juice recipe I have requires it, but my juicer seems to just spit it into the waste bin without even chopping it up.
Can someone tell me a method to do this correctly and get at least a little bit of juice?
Answer: why not blend it?
You can chop it up in a food processor and squeeze it yourself too.
Have you tried taking a huge huge amount of parsley, squeeze it in your hand before placing it in your juicer? This way there are huge amounts that the juicer may recognize.
Question: Any luck with a juicer instead of cheese cloth to make grape jelly? Has anyone had success making jelly with a juicer? It seems like a big time-saver. Any helpful comments?
Answer: I just made grape jelly this summer, i used a potato masher and a stainless steel bowl, then put it on the stove to cook down, then strained it through a metal strainer. There are recipes on line how to make grape jelly, that is where I got my recipe from. Good Luck!
Question: Where can I find a good fruit and vegetable juicer? I need a juicer that has a strong and quiet motor, takes whole fruits, extracts most of the juice, easy to clean, and less than $200. I was considering the power juicer elite but when I read the terrible reviews, I changed my mind. I would appreciate your suggestions. Thank you.
Answer: You can buy some high quality used Champion juicers on eBay for less than $200 at

That's where I got mine.
Question: How to get a very stuck juicer blade off a motor shaft ? How do I get a stuck blade attachment off an old Champion Juicer ?
I have an old Champion juicer. It is impossible to get the attachment with the cutting blades off. Any ideas ?
Do you know how to get the attachment off the shaft of a Champion juicer. This one is really stuck on there.
Answer: Apparently, this works. I have not tried this but did some research and found this. So try this on your own risk.
You should face the cutting blades downwards, drip down either canola or vegetable oil into the motor shaft. It will take a while to seep in, so leave it there for couple of days. Take a screw driver and work around the edges of the cutter.
Question: I just bought a juicer and it did not come with a recipe book. Does anyone have any good juicer recipes? Yeah, need to lose weight, bought a juicer that did not come with a recipe book, Need good recipies, thanks much!!
I know I can juice anything, just would like some recipes.... how much of each veggie? fruit?

Question: Can I make a veggie drink in a blender instead of a juicer? or I am losing the nutrients? I am looking for recipes to make veggie drinks but I find that most require a juicer. Why cant I just use a blender? Looking to do a detox for a week or so and don't know if thier is a specific reason for a juicer rather than a blender.
Oh and recipes would be great!
Thanks!
Answer: You won’t lose nutrients.
However, the whole point of juicing is to retain the nutrients and remove the fibre.
Solid fruits & vegetables (because of the fibre) require hours of digestion before their nourishment is finally available to the cells and tissues of the body.
Juices without fibre, are very quickly (within 15 mins) digested and assimilated into the body and so can get to immediate work replenishing and healing our cells.
Fibres in solid foods and blends have virtually no nourishing value, but they are very beneficial for-you-know-what.......
The following book is excellent. It only cost me $5.00 – best $5.00 I have ever spent:
“Fresh Vegetable and Fruit Juices – what’s missing in your body” by Norman.W.Walker D.Sc.
I brought a VitalMax Oscar 900 juicer for AUS $500 (you can get them A LOT cheaper in the USA) I use it at least three times a day, everyday. It is the best $500 I have ever spent.
Other books I highly recommend are:
“Juice Fasting Bible: Discover the Power of an All-Juice Diet to Restore Good Health, Lose Weight and Increase Vitality” By Sandra Cabot
“Green for Life” by Victoria Boutenko
To achieve a well balanced overall effect, you should consume both juices and blends BUT they are certainly different and should be treated as such.
Contrary to what the first poster says….. ......every study I have read has shown huge benefits to detox “diets” when juicing.
I have done several vegetable juice fasts and they have all been hugely beneficial to my health and well-being.
Juicer: Carrot, Ginger & Orange Juice
Juicer: Beetroot, Carrot, Kale, Cabbage, Celery, Broccoli & Apple Juice
Blender: Banana, Spinach, Ginger & Water
Blender: Blueberries, Banana, Orange & Water

Question: What are the best juicer recipes to combat cancer? Someone dear to me has cancer and she has a fruit and vegetable juicer. What juice recipes would you recommend?
Answer: There is no scientific evidence that any food or drink, including juice, has any effect on the progress of cancer.
I have been an enthusiastic juicer for years; my high intake of juices did not prevent me from getting cancer, nor did it cure me. Juice always made me feel better, except when I forced myself to drink it during chemo, when it made me very nauseous.
I'm sorry about your loved one having cancer, and hope her treatment goes well.
Question: What is the best juicer for taking seeds out of raspberries? what is the best juicer to use for taking the seeds out of black raspberries, red raspberries?
that sounds like a good idea thanks for your help
Answer: Yes, a sieve would be a good idea if all you have is a blender. However, most juicers strain the juice anyway so pretty much anyone would work for this. So if you're looking for a juicer JUST for juicing your berries and removing the seeds all at once, I would recommend a hand operated masticating juicer like the
Lexen Healthy Juicer - Manual Wheatgrass Juicer
It runs for about 45$. Everything considered, this would be my recommendation to you.
Hope this info helped.
