Answer: doing it quickly will only make it come back just as fast. a small thing you can do while your in your desk at work is flex your stomach, tighten and suck in, on and offf all day, its tiring a bit but i noticed that i felt a lot tighter after one day.

Answer: For one, you can't lose 10 pounds in one week. But here are some of my tips to lose a few. You should replace any sodas you drink with water. If you have a craving for one then buy a diet soda. It also helps to eat low-fat foods. You also need to lower your sugar and carb intake. Exercise for at least 30 minutes a day. Get at least 8 hours of sleep. People who sleep too little or too much are more likely to be overweight. I also found this great article in prevention magazine to tone your buns and thighs when you can't exercise every day. All you need is a set of 2 or 5 pound dumbells(if you want the workout to be more effective). You spread your feet about a foot and a half apart. If using dumbells, hold them in your hands at a right(90degree) angle. You then squat and hold for 3sec.(make sure your knees are not further out than yor feet). Do 3 sets of 12 repetitions(36 times) for 3 days a week. You should see results in a few weeks.

Question: I need to lose 20 pounds within the next 7 days. Is there an extreme diet anyone knows about that I can do? Answer: Fast weight loss never works. It just sets you up for rebound weight gain. This is the last thing you would want to do. Take up a regiment of a sensible healthy diet with exercise. I doubt that you could achieve that weight loss even if you completely starve. Anyway I have attached more information for you in-case you are interested.

Answer: you need to burn off that layer of visceral fat to get the toned stomach. excercise and dieting.
interval training is the best. you can do it with biking,running,swimming,jumping rope or whatever.
its basically run a 100 metres then walk till you catch your breath and then do it again and again.
turning vegetarian would be the best for weight loss and a flatter stomach. if you crave meat then opt for soy.
high-ish fibre
low-ish carb
high-ish protein
(waaay to many foods to list. google them and find out what food has what. also read up on GI indexes of carbs.)
muesli for breakfast is going to take care of your fibre.
soy will take care of your protein. beans and legumes are good.
stay away from deserts and mcdonalds (bad carbs)
dont over do it with the rice,potatoes and brown bread (good carbs)

Answer: I am trying to lose weight too! Today is my third day of diet/exercise. I feel great. There is a fun work-out video on youtube. It is AMAZING!!! It works on your 'love handles' and abs too. I don't know if you have heard of Tae-Bo, but that is what it is. You don't even have to go out and buy it.
When I am doing it, I sweat until I drop. My shirt is literally soaked in just 45 minutes. I used to go to gyms and swimming but I never saw results fast enough. Be patient and add Tae-Bo (Aerobic) and (Abs) total of 45 minutes a day for 4 times a week and you will notice a difference for sure!
For my diet, I am eating a lot of veg/fruits/nuts and protein - chicken/eggs/fish.

Answer: 4-10 lbs in a month is healthy weight loss but 8 is a better goal. I have lost 70 lbs over the last year. If you lose weight too quickly though you are not losing fat but rather muscle so watch out for that!
Go to www.mypyramid.gov and fill in your information for how many calories you should burn and it will tell you what to eat. If you want to lose weight, cut that amount by 500-700 calories and work out with cardio about an hour/day more than you currently do (at least 4 times/week). A pound of fat is 3500 calories so if you cut your calorie intake by 500 every day that is 1 lb lost in what you eat and you will probably lose another pound from the exercise!

Question: What are some plain exercises as a teenager to lose pounds quick? I'm 15 years old, my height is 5"3, and weigh 197 pounds. I'm trying to lose about 60 pounds so I can get to my actual weight to be, but I'm going to make it easy by losing about 10 pounds every 2 weeks or short in this month. Any advice I could know like how many jumping jacks, push ups, sit ups, jump roping, etc. that I should do to lose this weight.
Answer: 5 lbs every week is an aggressive goal. Your goal should be something more along the lines of 10 lbs per month (about 1-2 lbs per week). If you lose weight quickly is MUCH more likely you'll gain it back plus some.
As far as your exercise goes, you should try to do cardio (jumping jack and jump rope) at least 30 min at a time. If you do 10 min, 3 times a day, it's not the same thing. Try doing 5 min of either, then take about 60 seconds to recover, and do another 5 minutes. Repeat until you hit 30 minutes at least.
As far as your sit ups and push ups go, do as many as you possibly can at once, then divide that number by 2 and add 2 or 3 and do two sets. For example, if you can do 8 push-ups, try to do two sets of 5 with a 60 sec break in between.
Most importantly, change your diet. Try to cut out one junk food item every week and replace it with a fruit or a veggie. If you try to eat healthy all at once and you're not used to it, it'll just make you miserable.

Answer: well 1st of all DON'T starve yourself it will not work.
fair play for deciding that's it you want to lose it, it's the first step :-)
you just need to eat healthy and exercise, its that simple! (ha, i know easier said than done!) but if you really out your mind to it you CAN do it!
Cut out:
-anything obviously bad for you like chocolate, crisps, sweets and cake!
-white pasta, rice and bread! (go for wholegrain pastas, rice and bread -so much healthier!)
if you aim to eat about 5 or 6 portions of fruit and veg a day you wont get hungry between meals.
Eat lean chicken and fish. don't eat out cook your own food and don't add butter or salt.
if you do this for a week eating lots of whole grains, raw fruit and veg, raw nuts and seeds i guarantee you will be jumping with energy and want to exercise!
