Question: Where can I find the nutrition guide for p90x and is it okay to do stretch X every day? Well, I recently got back onto the p90X workout system and I was wondering if anyone has a p90X nutrition guide that they could send scans of to me or if they know where I can find a pdf file of it online.
Also, since Stretch X isn't really a workout, I was wondering if it's okay if I do it every day.
Answer: There isn't the entire nutrition guide online. If u bought p90x, then u should have gotten it, but u cant get it offline, if u didn't buy it then ya..idk what to say.
You could do xstretch everyday if u want..but its not really neccessary..u'd probably get the same results of doing it everyday as u would every other day or once every three days...all the vids have some sort of stretching and to be honest if ur doin classic, then ull prob get pretty flexible over time
I really hoped this helped, sorry about the guide..
Question: How to follow the P90X nutrition guide? I have P90X and the nutrition guide.
How do I follow it? Do i just pick foods and follow the amount needed.
Does anyone know how i can get the food listings cause i lost it.
Answer: In the beginning of the guide it will explain how to determine your starting point and calorie level needed. Then you will select a phase. 1 2 or 3. depending on your current fitness level and goals.
From there there are options on how to follow it. You can follow a pre-made meal plan that has each meal listed for you, You can follow a portion approach that will tell you how many portions of each food group to eat and you decide what the foods are. and there is the "quick Option" approach that shows you what pre-made or restaurant foods are recommended on the plan.
Page 1 - 11 is where all that info is found.
Hope that helps!
Question: i am going to start the p90x and need to know how to use the nutrition guide? i currently bought the p90x but dont know half the stuff in the nutrition guide and was wondering if there is a better way to understand this or other stuff i can eat instead of what the book says? please help planning to start on monday 2-8-10
Answer: The nutrition guide is very daunting when first looked over. I went with the portion plan that they outline in the nutrition guide; therefore, I would not be restricted to the meal plan that, from what i've read, costs a ton to get all of those groceries. Simply put, you find out how many calories you will theoretically be expending in a day, find that level (I'm level II) on the nutrition guide and it will tell you how many portions of different foods you can have each day.
A lot of protein is needed, that is the big expense of this nutrition guide. Basically, if you 'eat clean' for the 90 days, No fast food, no carbonated beverages, no fried foods... you will see excellent results. Eat a lot of vegetables and proteins (meats, fish) and use fruits as your carbohydrate sources and you should be fine.
Question: do i need the p90x nutrition guide for results? i have recently acquired the p90x program but no nutrition guide.i would like to know if i will still get decent results without it.
Answer: hey im doing the p90x also!.and i dont do the nutrition guide at all im only 34 days in and im startin to see a 4 pak lol..but dont get me wrong i stopped drinking soda(havent had it for a while now)..drink lots of water.. i eat tons and tons of fruit cups my mom gets mad cause i go through em like crazy lol..got nothing to fkin eat lmao..but for dinner i still eat the regular since im only 16 my and moms rules are eat whats at dinner or make it urself..so she makes alot of chiken foods..and pastas and zittis..so i guess thats not too fat but most def STAY AWAY FROM CAKES/cookies there so much fat in it..and wel my dad is 62 years old he does it with me..he doesnt eat healthy for shit! but he lost weight he was 41 inches around the weight and now hes 36 only 34 days!!..i mean yeah he does eat about 3-5 meals a day but he for the most part he only has soda like once every other day...and doesnt eat too much desert ..but he does try n watch what hes eating..so yeh this is my best advice to you basickly just try and eat healthy

Answer: nutritiondata.com i found found to be pretty good. =)
Question: In the middle of doing the P90X. Question about the Nutrition Guide? I hear people saying that they tweak the nutrition guide. And im only 17, so i can't cook half the things they tell me to eat because i simply dont have the resources. So what are some alternate choices that are easier? Mainly for the lunch and dinner foods.
Answer: If you notice you don't have to follow the menu the offer. Tony Horton also gives you the the serving choices. 4 proteins,3vegetables,2cabs and so on. Just make sure you check the serving sizes. I started P90X 11 weeks ago and I'm looking great. I chose to use the Servings and have never used the menu. Good luck.

Question: Quick Translation of Nutrition Guide to Spanish? Hi! I was wondering how I'd say the following in Spanish:
Peanut butter is made from chopped up peanuts and salt. The "butter" or paste forms because the oils in the peanut butter help the peanuts stick together and become smooth like butter. The butter can't be reversed to whole peanuts.
In some countries peanut is mani and in others cacahuate.
Question: Do you really have to use the P90X Nutrition Guide? Can you just eat regularly (like anyone else who worksout) and still get the same results?
Answer: Maintaining a healthy and nutritionally balanced diet designed to support this extreme fitness program is an important part of this program. Here P90X provides a three-phase nutritional plan that coincides with the workouts: phase one is heavy on the protein; phase two is an all around balanced eating plan while phase three is heavy on the carbohydrates. Compare this to muscle confusion… we’ll call it nutrient confusion.

Question: I am doing p90x and the nutrition guide says to not eat within 3 hours of bedtime. It also say to drink? the recovery drink after your workout.
I am doing the program at night before bed. am i better off not eating anything after or drink a protein shake after, which would be right before bed.
Answer: eating food before bed is bad because your body doesnt get the chance to burn that food off. the protein shake is deisgned as a 'recovery' drink. as in, it replentishes what is lost during the workout. it helps the muscles rebuild after you work them since protein is the major component of muscle. i also do the p90x at night and i have had no problems with having the protein shake in the evening after the work out. hope that helps.
