One A Day Vitamins

Question: What happens when you take one a day vitamins on an empty stomach? I have been taking one a day multivitamins for a week now and i haven't been eating when i take it. And recently i have been throwing up, could this be because i am not eating when i take my vitamin?

Question: Can you take two different one a day vitamins every day? I have One A Day All Day Energy and One A Day Mens Healthy Formula Mutlivitamin. Could I take them both every day? Or would that be too much?

Answer: In my opinion you can take both.Have taken many more vitamins than that and not only am i surviving but can work out better than most young men at 63.I think this thing about excess of vitamins is rather a bit over-hyped.I also suggest that you read Dr.Atkins(the same Dr.Atkins who was world famous for his diet on keeping fit) book on vitamins.It will really enlighten you on the subject of vitamins.

Question: How big are the teen one a day vitamins? I have a problem with swallowing large pills, and am thinking about trying the one a day teen vitamin. And i really need to know how big they are. I have been looking online for a picture of them but all i can find is a picture of the bottle. Would someone mind linking me a picture(where i can tell the actual size by comparison) or comparing the size to something for me? please! Thanks much :)

Answer: They are 2 cm. long and 0.8 cm. wide. They're not so big. I have the same problem. :)

Question: Is it safe to take 3 different One-A-Day vitamins every morning? I have a family member who is visiting and just realized she is taking three multivitamins every morning. She is in her late 60's and I can't imagine this is okay. I believe there is a reason they are called ONE A DAY(not 3 A DAY). Is this safe?

Answer: Depends. Water soluble vitamins are mostly (near) impossible to overdose on. You just pee them out. This isn't dangerous per se, but there is no point in it. The fat soluble vitamins (Vitamins A D E and K) can build up and cause toxicity. Minerals (like iron, calcium, zinc) can also build up and cause problems. Having too much can be dangerous. Check what is in your multivitamin and how much. If it is far in excess of the RDI (recommended daily intake) then its not only a waste of money, but you are getting closer to toxic. Many multis don't contain minerals, and only contain water soluble vitamins. The upper daily limit (UDL) is the most you can have of a vitamin or mineral before it becomes toxic. Question: Can One A Day Vitamins make your teeth sensitive? I have been taking them on and off for about a year, and I can't seem to stay with the program. Taking them has always lead to my teeth feeling colder when I breath in, and sensitive to cold/hot foods. As soon as I stop taking them, it goes back to normal. Answer: There is this shampoo that I've used before and it makes my hair grow faster than normal shampoos. I know that sounds ridiculous and unbelievable but it does make my hair grow faster than using Pantene Pro-V (which I use everyday now). The shampoo is called Nioxin. It's a professional hair care product and is sort of costly. It's actually made for people with thinning hair and is supposed to help hair grow back more and thicker. I don't like how the stuff makes my hair feel since it doesn't make my hair really soft like Pantene does but it makes my scalp feel really good. Kind of like an icy burning sensation.

Answer: I take a multi vitamin, calcium, and omega-3. All vitamins do different things. I think if you take your vitamins separately you get a higher concentration of the vitamins you really need. Answer: I took them for a while and didn't really feel a whole lot of difference. I was taking one in the morning, then drinking Vitamin Water (Revive flavor - large bottle). I still got tired at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. during my day. :( He can try them, maybe they'll work for him. Is he getting a good night's rest? That is important too! :) Good luck!

Answer: Just take 1 a day.. If you take a whole body you can get sick or worse.. if you just take 2 a day then nothing will happen.. Just read, and stick with the directions on the bottle.

Some people do not put their vitamins out of reach of children, because they don't think of them are medicine or cleaning products with dangerous chemicals. If you're a teenager, you're supposed to eat a lot and exercise a lot in order to grow a lot so you should get everything you need from the food you eat.

Answer: It wont hurt. I took a prenatal vitamin. Go to babyzone.com they give you many tips on trying to conceve. And even give you a ovulation schedule. I used this to get pregnant and it worked I now have a beautiful daughter

Answer: Yes. But I would suggest a prenatal vitamin so if you do become pregnant you are taking something with the extra folic acid for the baby. Answer: Yes, they can. Any vitamin supplement has the ability to do that. Not just because of the empty stomach either. Some people react poorly to the ingredients that deliver a certain vitamin. The compounds that deliver those vitamins can differ from vitamin to vitamin - so it could be brand specific.
