Question: What remedies can be claimed for breach of contract? If a person A agreed to sell a special picture to B, but one day, the picture was lost without knowledge of any party of the contract. Now B plans to take action against A for breach of contract. What are the remedies that B can claim from A for breach of contract? could it be damages or specific performance?
Anyone willing to help me? i still don't understand this kind of situation should be in which remedies.
Answer: If the picture is lost, there may not be any damages accruing.
It's called the force majeur defense - an outside force frustrates the fulfillment of the contract. The contract is declared null and void at that point and neither party can claim damages.
The seller has to refund any money the buyer paid, of course, but that's it.
Specific performance would not apply in this case unless the buyer has evidence that the picture really isn't lost. Ordering someone to do what he truly cannot do is not an enforceable order.

Answer: There is no treatment for stretchmarks. they look more noticeable on dark skin. If they are red/brown and new then i suggest applying bio oil on them everyday, twice a day until they start fading. If they are whitish, then i'm sorry mate but you're stuck with them! my bf is skinny and not very tall but has them on his lower back and i have them allover my arms, calves, breasts, shoulders, tummy, back.. so be happy that yours aren't everywhere! in summer im stuck with jeans and long sleeve tops and it sucks to go out or to shop.. i love winter!!!!!
Question: What homeopathic remedies to do you recommend to treat autism? My friend has a child who is autistic. They tried the allopathic route without much success. Someone said something to be about homeopathy. We have a store that sells these remedies where I live. I do not know anything about homeopathy. Could someone tell me which remedy might work in improving an autistic child's functioning?
Answer: Bufo is good for mental retardation so it might help with autism. If it came on after innoculations try silica, thuja, or the isopathic remedy for the vaccine. Check out Transdermal Marma Therapy. I've heard they've had some good results with that.
Question: What are some remedies for hyperhidrosis? I've been excessively sweating for a long time now and I didn't realize that there was a name for it until just recently. So, I was wondering if there are any recommended treatments for it. I've been trying a prescription deodorant, but it doesn't seem to be working that well. So are there any other remedies for hyperhidrosis? I'm fine with any suggestions as long as it isn't surgery, botox, or iontophoresis. And if not remedies, are there any recommendations for things to do? I had heard that drinking more water was good but is there anything else?
Answer: I use to have that for a long time and it was reallllly bad until I finally tried an over the counter product called "certain dry" at night..it was a roll on...i used it several months, it helped a lot...then i stopped using it and now i don't need it. i could never use regular deodorant but now i can use any cheap product and i barely sweat. try it! good luck!
Question: Why are over the counter remedies that actually work eventually get taken off the market? Examples: Enamelon Toothpaste, Dr. Sholl's Wart Remover, Band-Aid Liquid Bandage. It seems that the only remedies that are sold are so-called"miracle Remedies" that may or may not work. Or there's no remedy at all.
Answer: Things get taken off the market because they don't sell well, they get replaced by something better, a competitor shuts the company down, the FDA or other regulatory body says it is not safe anymore or they 'improve' the product so they can sell it for more money.
The pharmaceutical industry is big and powerful and won't tolerate interference in their plans. On the other hand, home remedies can not be shut down.
Question: What are some remedies (non-drug remedies) that will help me to fall asleep? I've been having major problems getting a full night of sleep lately. Answer: Sports!
Make you tired!
You may fall asleep.
Question: What are some remedies to help get voice back? Am getting over a cold and have lost my voice. Not completely, but it's getting completely gone. What are some home remedies to help speed up the process of getting my voice back and with these remedies how LONG til my voice comes back?
Answer: Drink soothing drinks. Nothing will really help your larynx heal faster. You could take some NSAIDs (like ibuprofen or tylenol) which may help with the inflammation of your larynx. If your voice isn't back in a couple days then see your doctor.

Question: What remedies did they use in the 17th century? I want to know all the weird things they did in like England and around there that they would use to treat a sickness. Like weird herbs, spices, remedies, stuff they would do to their patient's body trying to get "bad" spirits out, things that caused sickness... etc.
Great, thanks for trying (first two answers)
That is really not what i am looking for though.
Fuck you guys. Thanks for nothing.
Answer: Bleeding with leeches was a very common "treatment" at the time. however, in the 17th century, medicine was just beginning to come out of the dark ages, so there were some treatments that were actually effective, like treating infections with garlic (a Natural antibiotic).
Question: What are some good remedies for dry itchy skin? I have a bad habit of scratching my face and now it gets real itchy on my forehead and nose & my lips are real dry . My forhead has flaky bits and is real dry & so is my nose. What are some good remedies for really dry skin & itchy skin?
Natural remedies would be prefered :)
Answer: Massage your skin with Olive or coconut oil before bath. Use some moisturizer before sleep. Use only mild soap or glycerine soap for bathing. Reduce the number of times you wash your face. Wash your face with fresh milk in the morning (not too cold or hot). Apply milk cream on lips also on your face. this will make your skin smooth again.
Question: What remedies can be used at home to treat Armpit Boils? Some of my family members suffer from reoccurring armit boils. One has had glands removed but the issue still exists once a year for her. I was wondering if anyone has tried a warm compress with Epsom salt or a Epsom salt bath? Or what remedies do others suggest besides LANCING (getting it cut open & drained) ew!
Answer: Kaolin poultice is good if you can get hold of it, better than Epsom salts & excellent for boils
Question: What remedies are there for a pierced tongue infection? I have had my tongue pierced for 7 years & have had no problems with it until recently. I am not one to play with my tongue ring and half of the time I forget it's there. Lately, the bottom is a whitish color and is a bit painful to eat with. I have heard that mouthwash with no alcohol helps & I just started doing that yesterday (Morning & night). Am I on the right path? Any suggestions, remedies, etc would be greatly appreciated.
Answer: Well if you dont have it gauged, you may want to think about going up to a higher gauge, keeping your tongue at a 14g gives you a greater risk of infection because it allows it to move more. I would recommend going up to an 8g, it gives it less movement, and helps prevent the barbell rubbing against your teeth at night while your sleeping. But if that it not an option for you, or you already have it done. Take the barbell out and leave it rubbing alcohol for about an hour, and rinse your mouth with warm salt water, about 3 times a day for a few days. That should help, and rid your piercing of any infection.
Question: What are natural hair remedies to make your hair grow? What are natural hair remedies to make your hair grow? I have tried store products and none seem to work but i heard home remedies are most likely to work.
Another Question: Does Canola Oil help hair? If so what does it do?
Answer: You can expect 1/2 inch of growth per month. So if you want your hair to grow longer and if your hair is in good condition ask to have 1/2 inch trimmed every 2-3 months. If your hair isn't in good condition have 1/2 inch cut every 6 weeks until the damaged hair has been cut away.
There's nothing you can apply to your hair, nothing you can eat or drink, no pill to take that makes your hair grow faster.
Eat healthy and take your multi-vitamin. Taking 5,000 mcg Biotin daily will improve the health of your hair, skin, and nails.
Split ends are the enemy of growth. People who claim their hair doesn’t grow usually have so many split ends their hair is breaking off at about the same rate it’s growing. Get a trim once every two or three months. Tell the stylist you’re growing it out and want nothing more than the ends evened out and damaged ends removed.
Don't color, tint, perm, straighten, or bleach your hair. This is important, since even the gentlest products contain chemicals which dry the hair shaft, making it more prone to splitting.
Never use heat to style your hair- not to dry, not to curl, not to straighten.
Condition your hair whenever you shampoo. Use a product which promises moisture renewal or hair health.
Once a week use a deep conditioning product which you leave in for several minutes, then rinse out.
Question: What are some old remedies to help constipation? What kind of remedies are there now, and in the past to help constipation?? I want to know because i don't want to use medication since people can be dependent on them. I want to know about remedies used in the past because i'm interested in how people got over these things 40 or 50 years ago (i'm weird i know). Thank you for your answers.
Answer: Gotta go along with those who suggest an enema as the best solution. As one who was born in the '40's, my mom used enemas as the cure for constipation but not as "a cure for any ailment". I got them as a kid and continue to use them today when the need arises. A frequent substitute for an enema was, and still is, a glycerin suppository for less severe bouts of constipation.
Question: What Homeopathic Remedies should I take? I get a lot of muscle pains in my neck so I've been on muscle relaxers and would like to stop taking them. I would like to try some some homeopathic remedies but I'm not sure what to take and if it's possible to take too many. I have arthritis in my neck, herniated and bulging discs that press on some nerves and cause arm pain. My neck muscles are always very tensed and painful. Also, I would like to know what the difference is between different remedies. Some answers I've read say to take Arnica 200 but where I order from they only have 30X or 30C and I don't know the differences. If someone could please help answer what remedies are useful, the differences of the # after the remedy and where to order them I would great appreciate it.
Answer: If there's not a homeopath near you, ABC Homeopathy offers an extensive questionnaire on their site. It's kinda' like the Materia Medica in questionnaire form. After completing it, they suggest remedies that may help. You can buy them from ABC or go to a different site, such as National Homeotherapeutic.
You can also check the second link below to find a homeopath near you.
Have you considered acupuncture as a supplemental therapy to homeopathy? I would also recommend aromatherapy; however some essential oils do antidote homeopathy. If you'd like me to suggest an oil blend, please feel free to email me.
