Question: Slimming Pills? My friends and I are interested in buying slimming pills. We're all 17 and stay in Scotland, can someone recommend any that work?

Answer: Dont know of any that work, all just seem an excellent way to waste money, and believe me, i've tried a few!

Answer: the only slimming pills I've taken are apple cider-vinager pills, you take them right before eating fatty foods and when my sister took them she lost over 100 pounds. yes they do work, if you maintain the same eating habits when you go off them you will likely gain the weight back. And no there are no side effects that I know of. You can definitely google the pills for more information.

Question: How many slimming pills does it take to overdose? I'm not asking this because I'm suicidal, I'm curious. I've been taking Tesco and Boots slimming pills and have recently been taking a lot more than recommended. I know it's not wise, but I'm not asking for advice. Thank you. (:

Answer: Usually it takes a lot of pills to overdose. I had a depression problem and got addicted to pills. As long as you aren't taking more than double the recommended dosage you should be okay. I know you said you didnt want advice, but mine is different. I wouldn't take more than the recommended dosage because they have it in portions that will work the best. Just be wise about it and you won't OD. Also, most substances leave your body in a matter of 24 hours.

Answer: Ask your doctor. They'll tell you that using laxatives or slimming pills to lose weight is *crazy* and will only compromise your health... with *or* without contraceptive hormones. Eat just a little bit less and divide your eating into 6 or 7 very small meals instead of 2 or 3 bigger ones.... you'll be amazed how easy it is to lose weight in good health.

They're made for adults (or over 16s) because you have stopped growing and your muscles are fully developed, and taking them when you are under-age could harm your body permanatly. It also may not work out the way you want it to, slimming pills can weaken your metabolism (this is at any age) and will make you gain weight quicker.

Answer: All diet pills are scams. Nobody ever truly lost weight and kept it off thanks to a pill. Stop looking on TV and the internet for quick fix solutions, because they don't exist. To lose fat: 1. DON’T BELIEVE THOSE FAD DIETS! DIET PILLS ARE GIMMICKS! 2. DO NOT STARVE YOURSELF! Unless you are 4ft tall, a 1,200 calorie a day diet is DANGEROUS and won't work in the long run. 3. Calculate your BMR. Do a google search. A good calculator would ask for your age, height, weight, and activity level. 4. Eat healthy and eat about 500 calories a day less than your Basal Metabolic Rate (BMR). Your BMR is how many calories you need per day to maintain your current weight. 5. Eat 5-6 small meals a day. This keeps your metabolism up. Each meal should include fruits, veggies, water, and protein. 5. Drink at least 64oz (8 8oz glasses) of water a day. No soda (that includes diet soda). 6. Do light/moderate cardio 3 to 5 times a week for 30 to 45 minutes each time. Running, bicycling, and swimming are great for this. 7. Do some strength training to make sure you lose fat and not muscle. Don't worry; you won't look like the hulk if you lift weights. 8. You should lose about 1-2lbs (.45-.9kg) per week. Answer: there really aren't any magical pills that help you slim and the reason they don't let minors take them is cause they are dangerous. the best way to lose weight if you cant exercise is to cut back on the foods you eat. Try checking your RMR and BMR online, just google search it, and you can compare those numbers to how much you eat and cut it down a little bit. Trust me, stay away from those dangerous and, for the most part, fake diet pills.
