Supplement
Question: Supplement??? If i eat a 10miligrams of magnesium powder everyday, will I die???
If I`m correct, humans need 10 miligrams of Magnesium each day.
I do not want to buy supplements which contains Magnesium and eat Magnesium powder instead. will it be dangerous???
Answer: The RDA [Recommended Dietary Allowance] for Magnesium is 300-400mg/day. The UL [upper intake level] is 1000/ml per day. That means that you can safely take up to 1000 mg without the risk of toxicity.
So, take a powder or supplement if you want. My nutrition teacher would have said, "Just eat foods with magnesium". If you have a well balanced diet, you wont have to worrie.
Question: What supplement can you take before a game to give you an extra edge during the game? What supplement would you suggest to take right before a game to give you an extra edge during the game? Many say N.O Explode right before a game can give you that edge, but is there any other supplements i can take?
P.S, the sport is football.
Answer: try crack or cocaine. they get your heart rushing so there is no way you can lose
Question: How can I tell if my supplement is a placebo or the real deal? Quick background:
Me and 19 other guys are doing a strength-and-mass fitness study at Baylor U on the VPX Stealth supplement. It's a double blind half-placebo study. Most of us in the study are good friends, so we naturally have been trying to figure out who got the actual supplement and who's chugging 1,000 calories in sugar twice a day. So this naturally leads to my question:
How can I tell if my supplement is a placebo or the real deal?
Answer: if it was easy to tell it wouldn't be a double blind test would it?
you signed up and probably are getting paid to make this an honest test. just deal with it.
Question: What is the best supplement for horse hoof and coat? Looking for a coat supplement for my15 yo appy. After he lost his winter coat this spring, his coat looks dull. He is wormed every six weeks and is currently on a joint and vitamin supplement. Need something inexpensive that works. Any suggestions?
Answer: Focus HF by Source. I've used the original Source micronutrients for 4 years and cannot be more pleased with the bloom in the coat. The HF formula is a pellet containing everything needed to grow strong, healthy hooves. I've a TB with white feet and the Source alone is letting her stay barefoot on rocks and gravel and the rough riding we do. My riding buddies have to at least shoe fronts if not all four. It's the only suppliment she's on with her normal pelleted feed. I call her my little mountain goat.

Question: What supplement can I take to reduce the clicking sound in my joints when I exercise? Sometimes when I exercise, my joints make a clicking sound. These joints range from my ankles to my knees. What could it be and what supplement should I take to correct it?
I just want a supplement to correct the clicking of my joints. I don't want to wear out my cartilage or get an injury. Honestly, I exercise often (about 4 times a week) and eat right most of the time.
I'm also only 20 years old
Answer: The sounds in your joints are probably "crepitus." These sounds are usually benign and develop as our joints age or start to degenerate. (Even young, healthy people can develop crepitus, especially if they've been active or had injuries). If the sounds are accompanied by pain or "joint locking," or they follow a trauma, then it's time to see a doctor as this could be a more serious issue such as a "loose body" in the joint itself.
There are no supplements that will stop the clicking sounds but Glucosamine Sulfate is a great supplement that helps to support the ligaments and joint tissues. It's a little expensive but make sure to get a higher quality version with "MSM."
You might also try doing your exercise just to the point of hearing the sound and then repeat the exercise. Often crepitus occurs at our "end-range of motion." So if we do a squat, for instance, and hear the sound when our knees and hips are fully flexed. Then try to do the same motion just stop before you hear the sound and repeat.
I hope this helps. Best of luck to you!
Question: What is the best supplement to help lose weight quickly? I am trying desperately to lose weight. I'm 18 and have struggled with weight all my life. I would love to lose about 130 and need to do so in order to be healty. I have tried every diet in the past from low carb, to low cal and fat. I do not eat much and gain a lot more weight than what I take in. I am one string from giving up and I am desperate. I am going to give another try to weight loss and this time I am planning to use a supplement to assist me. I am also considering doing the hollywood diet on the weekends to help. I went to the store and seen all of the different supplements and just really don't know what is best. If you could help me I would really appreciate it.
Answer: honestly no supplement out there is going to work without proper exercise and a balance diet.
to start off with focus on cardiovascular work. 3 - 4 days a week of treadmill, bike, stairmaster, etc.. work for 30 45 min and always go for time rather than intensity (meaning lower down the level inorder to complete your time if you have too)
I hope this helps. I'd do this for at least 1 month before starting weight training. when a months up ask again :)
Question: Which supplement is good to build body and gives power to work out. Is Optimum serious mass good? I'm planning to build my body and very much confused to find which supplement is the best. Can any body suggest ?
Answer: I have been taking serious mass for a while (I bought a concrete sack on the stuff lol), but have recently stopped as im going for a cut.
I personally quite liked the serious mass. I've seen some decent gains since I started to use it, and to be honest I haven't really put on any extra fat (Im a hardgainer with a very fast metabolism so im lucky). I also noticed my recovery period was quite a bit shorter than with other supplements I have taken in the past.
I would recommend, but remember when taking things like this which carry over 1600 calories in a shake with milk, you have to keep the hard work up, or you will start to put on that extra fat!
As for energy boost, I take nitrix (a N2O supplement which i swear by). When taking nitrix after a few weeks, im sure most people (who have taken it) will agree that your strength and the amount of time you can train at the gym is improved. Be careful though, it carries a hefty price tag!
Best of luck on your weight gain!
Question: What supplement is the best to gain weight? I am very active and am committing to a new weight lifting regiment. Need to know which type or brand of supplement will give me the quickest yield of weight gain. I also have a very high metabolism, and eat plenty of protein. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Answer: Consult the doc before taking any.
Eat only when hungry and not more than thrice a day. Nothing other than water in between. Include plenty of uncooked vegetables and fruits in each meal, preferably 50%. Chew each morsel at least 32 times to activate ur body to generate signals of hunger/fullness. Obey these signals.
Take light exercises and brisk walks regularly preferably twice a day.
U will achieve what u have not even dreamt and that too in a reasonable time. Do not be in a hurry.
Question: What is the best supplement for loosing weight? I am eating healthy and working out. I want to know what is a good supplement to take? I want to loose weight and to gain muscle. Please only answer me if you have taken the supplements yourself and havent just heard about them.
Answer: Accomplia. It is by prescription and available throughout Europe and the UK. It isn't a supplement. Research it and discuss it with your doctor. I have been following the trials for years and have been taking it since it became available last June. I am impressed. The pharm name is Rimonabant. Too detailed to go into here. Look it up.
Question: How long should my supplement answer for Boston University be? I am applying to Boston University and just want to know how many words the supplement "essay" should be. Also i was wondering if this amount of words should be the same for all colleges' supplement "essays".
Answer: Well when I applied to BU last year my supplemental essay was 224 words.
And I was accepted.
The question that year was
"We would like to know, in 500 words or less, what experiences have led you to select your professional field and objective?"
And it said right in the supplement in 500 words or less.
if you want to see what i wrote you can if you want
Question: What supplement can I take before or after a workout to build muscle and strengh? I am 17 and exercise regulary (mostly benching and treadmill). I am looking to take a supplement that can help me build muscle and strengh faster. I heard about whey protein and creatine but was wondering if they are safe. Any ideas/suggestions?
Answer: Just have whey protein post-workout.
It's the protein extracted from milk minus the fat.
Whole milk is horrible for the body. It is meant to turn a baby cow into a big cow.
That is why females only produce enough milk for the first year.
Building muscle isn't really healthy to begin with...so.
Why?
Because you raise your cholesterol out of the roof to maintain them. You have to eat more than your body needs to maintain them as well.

Question: What medicare supplement has a low monthly premium and good coverage? The supplement that I now have has increased so much, and I need to find another, but am overwhelmed as to which one to use.Any advise or info would be much appreciated.
Answer: My experience is that the most popular choices are Plan F and Plan J.
While the plan prices vary the same plan can vary by price a lot as well depending on who you buy from.
Here's a quick run down:
-Each plan is government regulated, which means plan J (for example) from company A and company B offers the exact same policies and benefits by law. Where they differ is their premium (cost to you) that company charges.
-Companies take different approaches to profit in this industry. They get paid over YEARS for signing you up as long as you're still with them. You may find ages 64-66 a certain plan is super cheap from company A, but they jack it up after 67 once they feel they have a consumer under them that is loyal and isn't changing companies. Other companies may charge a lot for certain plans for ages 64-68 feeling that these people are more likely to bounce around and leave them. Then they may charge low rates for the upper ages feeling they're less likely to to move between companies and policies and the lower rates to to get them on initially.
What it comes down to is you need to price fight to find the best rates, and every year check those rates again because every year you go up in age and the price field may be completely different and you could be wasting money by not checking.
Use a price fighting site like http://www.usinsuranceonline.com/health-insurance/seniors/medicare-supplement-insurance.php to get multiple agents to give you competing rates. Any agent trying to pressure you regardless of where you go or who you talk to, tell them off as they're not worth your time, there are many other good agents out there that will gladly help you find the best rates.
There are a lot of learning sites out there you can self educate on the topic for, but honestly, finding a few good agents that are willing to explain it all to you isn't that hard and much easier to comprehend through Q&A rather than reading a confusing novel on it ;)
Question: What is a good protein supplement for vegetarians for hair growth? I am a vegetarian, and my hair doesn't grow very fast at all. When I did eat meat, I didn't have this problem, so I was wondering if there is a supplement I could take to not only increase my intake but stimulate my hair growth.
Does anyone know of a safe, effective vitamin or supplement?
Answer: My hair has never grown fast, even when I did eat meat. (I'm a vegetarian also). I've been wanting longer hair for a while and it grows so slowly. So I started taking multivitamins. I think this has been helping...
